Review –

                     The book explores the wonders of the supernatural world. Our first meeting with our female protagonist , Temperance Augustine , is in the first chapter where she is in between of a Tarot Card reading with her friend Violet . Temperance is the Guardian and Daughter of the reconcilers , her responsibilities to retrieve a coveted possession of the Nine Choirs has been described with precise detail and immaculate writing.

                            This book comes in the genre of supernatural romance and covers everything from Lucifer to angels. Now our Temperance is not a typical female lead but a gifted , determined , courageous and loving girl of 22 years old. She sees visions of the evil about to happen and tries to prevent them. But lately her visions have been reduced during Mardi Gras and so she seeks the help from a lady known as Hazel , cue the opening scene of the book. Our male protagonist , Roman McKenna, is The Protector of the Guardian and thus have always been her shadow seeing no harm comes to her . But the protagonists officially meet at Destrehan Plantation on the occasion of The Enraptured Ball. The Nine Choirs had proclaimed that their hearts can not bind for they cannot be diverted from their mission. Nevertheless the moment their eyes fall on each other , they become enraptured . A forbidden love blooms .

                            The story is set in the vibrant city of New Orleans where superstition , magic and voodoo flows through every nook and cranny.

                       Read this book to go on a supernatural adventure of a lifetime and to get overwhelmed with feelings of mystery , glee and amazement.

Review –

                     This book is a continuation of the previous one.

                       Mysteries start unveiling and light shines through the darkest of times. Past connects with the future and things that were left unsaid are spoken now. Roman and Temperance get married against all odds to be bound together in holy union and blessed by Caelum (latin word for heaven). They hope to get through all dangerous times together . Long lost families are reunited and new bonds are built . The mighty battle takes place leaving all readers shaken , their faith is tested for even an inkling of doubt might lead to their death. Maybe a Fairytale ending happens maybe not....

Author appreciation –

                          The author , Michelle Hayes is an incredibly talented writer. She writes magically and her writing is impeccable. The most banausic things are described in the most beautiful way . While reading I felt involved in scenes through the ample description of all things.

                            These books are awesome , you all should give it a read and also see some more of the authors books which I will be reviewing in the near future.
