"Belcourt was known to the kingdom of Sutherland to be a prominent orphanage for young girls". Belcourt was the most famous for rearing the beguiling beauties – Belles, the only moniker of which the outsiders were aware of. They are trained and skilled to entertain through music, acting and most of all, seduction.

Though outside the two gates of Belcourt no one was au courant with the workings of Belcourt presuming all it was, was a bloody orphanage. But being stealthy has always been Belcourt's speciality, they were a society, they had a whole system of High Court running about which no one outside the confines of Belcourt was up to date with. They had a Common Court from where all the ladies at the age of eighteen were courted from. They had four Courts – Court of Flowers, Court of Libraries, Court of Arms & Court of Service. All governed by mistresses, who answered to the seven Maidens above their station who then reported to the High Priestess herself, a lady who has not been seen by anyone till date living in the safe precinct of The Palace.

The women of Belcourt were forever loyal for their golden adage was engraved in their minds. "Courage, passion, wisdom, and service maketh the perfect woman". Under the veil of utter secrecy, missions, soldiers and the High Priestess, Belcourt mayhap is playing a different game altogether.

Sasha Merson, our female protagonist for strictly this story, known as the Fainting Fairy around Belcourt and then the Fainting Belle. She spent the last five years of her life in the Court of Libraries, where she was initially courted, searching the mysteries of mind and maybe the answers to her past. One unfortunate day, Sasha's ears were graced with the news she thought she would never hear for it rarely ever happens.

The beautiful and imperious Lady Mariam, Mistress of Court of Flowers informed Sasha that she was being re-courted into the Court of Flowers. The reason given to her of the re-courting was that she was no more compatible to be in the Court of Libraries for she had failed too many of her researches, more than any lady present there. The reason of her incompatibility was shared by Lady Aisling, Mistress of Court of Libraries, making it all the more profound to Sasha that she is to lead her life from now on as a Belle, a lady from the infamous Court of Flowers, a title always abhorred by her and now detesting it even more she has to step out of the safe confines of Belcourt to perform the revolting duties of a Belle.

Mayhap in time Sasha might come to know the real competence and responsibilities of a Belle.

West Blackwood, our male protagonist for strictly this story, the Duke of Eaton. After searching everywhere for his long-lost sister, West stumbles upon Belcourt an orphanage with few other specialities. He buys the objectionable title of a gentleman from Belcourt - a flower of a Belle, first flower of Sasha.

He presents Sasha with a proposition to help him find his sister and rescue her from the clutches of Belcourt in exchange for Sashas freedom from Belcourt paid by West. Sasha is quick to conclude that West abhors the idea of his sister being a Belle and her conclusion is proven correct when no words of denial come from West's mouth.

West doesn't shares his title with Sasha and he even buys a villa in the town for their secret rendezvous. He doesn't wishes to be seen with Sasha – a Belle at all cost for her status of being a lady of Belcourt will surely tarnish is reputation. When Sasha agrees to his proposition, an agreement is signed and they henceforth set onto a peregrination on conquest of different things, supporting opposite forces.
