REVIEW –

Isobel Smith or Bella, our female protagonist, is now at university doing a language course choosing Spanish as her main course and Italian as her module. Isobel is going to be living at a flat with five other people- Jack, Shaun, Phil, Gemma, Hayley, trying to ensure she gets the full university student life. Although her and Nathan have been going strong for nearly a year now, Isobel is afraid of straining her relationship. Though it is not a long distance relationship any how Bella feels it is, with her being at university flat and Nathan living in a flat in the city, which is only a train ride away.

With Nathan encouraging her to mingle and go out with her flatmates, Bella felt as if Nathan was not missing her but it was only her who was recuperating from the sudden distance in their relationship. On top of her newly found insecurities about her impeccable relationship, she had University to think about. Isobel might have been a meticulous student back at her high school but here at University she was among the best of the best, something she realised on her first day. Her Spanish classes went straight above head and Italian might have been a bit good, but that got Isobel wondering whether she was designed for student life or not, with this some more worries wre added to her ever growing gruesome pile.

Throughout all this, Nathan was her anchor holding her down on Terra firma, supporting her, helping her tread the waters of her new found uncertainities. All Isobel has to and can do, is trust herself, trust Nathan and everything will play out alright.

After a troublesome past, Nathan Hunt, our male protagonist, knew that the education life wasn't for him anymore, so he decided to go for a job to get a headstart on building a future for himself and Isobel. Nathan took on the job of a Government Translator for Italian language, obviously. Seeing Isobel crumble under the heavy weight of worries and expectation of their relationship and her University, it came upon Nathan to manage a 24/7 positive facade to support Bella and help her realise everything will eventually be alright.

Doing this Nathan had to put his share of worries and insecurities on the back burner seeing as it was the only way to ensure Isobel remained intact under the new circumstances. With a vexatious past always at the of his mind standing alert, Nathan was himself in a lot of trouble constantly. Nathan has moved on from his past and become a changed and quite mature person but it seems he hasnt accepted his past self. Owing to which Nathan feels like he has to be disrespectful or rude to certain elements of his life and it seems Nathan feels like if he isn't rude to those elements, he is just going to repeat past.

To get a proper closure and concentrate fully on his future, Nathan inevitably has to confront his past. Even though it is a thing he detests the most, he has to tackle the problems so that no embarrassment of his past seeps into his future with Isobel. A future he thinks he isn't worthy of.

The setting was written nicely. Every aspect of university life shown was authentic. The characters as usual were built beautifully by the author. And in some characters description there was no fault whatsoever. Like Hayley was described perfectly as a person who saw University as a boring place using alcohol as an escape and to justify their actions. She painted anyone who didnt share the same opinion as her on the topic of alcohol to be a boring lad. Hundreds of students sharing the same personality go to University, which is why I felt that the author has done good by adding her in the story. Also the character of Gemma, spoke quite heavily. Many students/people agree to do anything or follow anyone blindly to feel even a scrap of acceptance, which should never be done.

The writing was beautiful, very customary of the author. The plot was written and shown in a very bewitching manner. I like how the author has shown that communication and trust are the most important part to sustain a relationship.

Read this book to see that even though people love each other , trusting one another is a different thing.

Happy Reading, People!!!!
