REVIEW-
Set in the oldest city of Georgia, Savannah this cute story leads us on the adventure of Faye Brantley, our female protagonist, who prides herself on being a good nurse, a responsible and able-minded sister and a good friend. She is a little self-conscious and her mind has been filled to the brim by the doubts planted by the tragic events that have occurred to her in the last 29 years. For some doubts she has to thank her siblings, Hayes and Alyssa, who were spoiled rotten by their parents before they died seven years earlier. They don't leave a moment when they are not picking on Faye either for her constant eating or her inability to land herself a man.
Faye has gotten used to their insults but it doesnt eradicate the fact that they still hurt. Trying to always help them hasn't deterred them from the path of insulting their elder sister. Faye just realises how much lonely she is in her life which upsets her quite a bit. But being the diligent person she is, she puts those thoughts on the sideline like always, never putting her needs first, and decides to pay attention to her life.
We meet the alluring and handsome Dr.Silas DeGraff, our male protagonist, in the second chapter when he arrives to look at Fayes basement garden apartment to rent for some time. Faye had been asked of this request by Chloe Lockwood, her friend, who had hoped if possible Silas will be able to rent Fayes basement apartment.
Dr.Silas DeGraff settles on renting her apartment for a fair amount of money as his rent to Faye.
With the handsome Dr. Silas living downstairs, on whom Faye already has a crush, she will truly realize how lonely she is. But Silas is a dark man with a little too many secrets , to be trusted with her heart. But still will Faye give him her heart even though his stay is a short one?
Will they be able to move past the world full of danger or will Silas truly lose Faye while trying to protect her from all the glorifying terror that lies in this world?
