Review –

The story opens with Camilla, our female protagonist trying to locate her brother Craig in the rugby stadium. Luckily his team's marketing manager spots her and gives her the directions to her brother's location. Craig is a professional player in the up and coming rugby team of United Kingdom.

Camilla has been away to New York for nearly one year by now for work and she has returned to her home country UK, after her visa expired, indefinitely. She is a solicitor and has worked in multiple honourable and big law firms. She specialises in sexual harassment and abuse cases. She has always had been determined to help people who are being exploited and seek legal help and to ensure that they are no longer exposed to exploitations.

Following Alina, team's marketing manager's directions she finds herself in the middle of a corridor with the rest of the directions out of her mind. Our protagonists meet for the first time in that empty corridor when Camilla stumbles and collides with Storm Dean, our male protagonist. Storm happens to be the captain of her brother's team and also her brother's closest friend. He offers to take her to meet her brother and Camilla happily obliged for she was excited to meet Craig after so long.

Camilla is a hard-headed, strong-willed and determined woman. The new emotions bubbling inside her are something that have scarred her once and she is scared to think how these emotions for Storm are going to affect her. Having had been in an unloving relationship, if you can call it that, something that destroyed her mentally more than she thinks. So the prospect of a relationship full of love, affection and respect terrifies her.

She has to overcome her past to enjoy the euphoria bound in the future that awaits her and Storm but overcoming her past will not be easy. It has a impenetrable hold on her and the gnawing guilt wont be facile to get rid of either.

Storm Dean is the captain in one of the up and coming rugby team of United Kingdom. For as long as Storm can remember rugby has been his passion and life. For the last ten years he has been serving as the fullback in his rugby team with vigour and resolution.

Storm yearns for a family, someone for whom he can look in the stands and feel pure joy knowing that they are there spurring him on. Seeing his teammates do this makes it all the more enticing for Storm. Storm is an energetic, resolute and loving man. He isn't afraid of emotions of love whereas Camilla isn't too fond of them, he craves it with his whole heart.

Storm and Camilla can't be any more apart on the relationship spectrum. Will they realise that the sizzling attraction between them can't be fulfilled by one night?

And beneath that layer of attraction, a whole garden of feelings might be blooming.

The author has written this story beautifully. And the concept of Abortion used by her is simply commendable. Using Camilla she has shown that the abortion is only a womans choice and no other person can influence it. Though Camilla has intense guilt for killing her own baby she still had to make the decision because she knew that there would be no support from the father and she will be too busy handling her job to be a good mother. She recognised that at the time the baby had come along, it wasn't the right time for her to nurture a baby.

The characters built by the author were realistic and perfect embodiments of being flawless. The lead male character was thoughtful and even though he had a rough start to life he decided to be the guy everyone looks upto and not the brooding male who likes to blame all his actions on his past. The lead female character had done her fair share of mistakes like a regular human being but decided to listen to others advice to attend counselling to better herself for her and her loved one's sake. The side characters were good too and the plot line was captivating. The story isn't completed fully in the sense of plot since the author planned to make this a trilogy series but has not yet updated on the second book in the series, Perfect Hook but the ending was good enough for me so I am happy. Although I would like to know what happens to Craig and Camillas feud which was not fully resolved in the book.
