A new concept explored by the author Steffanie in the genre of general fiction. Written in the perspective of Lincoln Parker, our male protagonist, is the story of how a seat filler goes from being just that to be thrusted in the glorifying and sometimes terrifying spotlight of Hollywood.
The story starts with Lincoln standing near his seat filler director, Harry who is assigning him to fill a seat for Miss Emily Margot's (our female protagonist) brother. Lincoln approaches Emily Margot, arising star in the world, even though Lincoln tries to stay away from the actresses and actors he fills in for, he was simply awed at the sight of Emily and enraptured by her bewitching emerald eyes. As soon as Lincoln was trying to sit his toe got caught behind the stump of a seat beside him and he fell down on his one knee in front of Emily Margot, who was just then reaching out to help him, sending the whole of Hollywood in the theatre in an uproar.
Suffice to say Lincoln was in for a suffering ordeal where Bobby McMillian, Emily Margot's Manager questioned him on why exactly did he fall on his one knee in front of Emily. From there on Lincoln's problems only increased. Both Emily and Bobby thinking to come up with some sort of fib. Bobby comes up with a idea that Lincoln can pretend to be Emily's boyfriend or an old flame to which Lincoln's answer is an absolute no.
Will Lincoln be willing to help Emily Margot to help keep her away from bad publicity? Or will he prefer to be kept out of the loop so as to not get in the drama he only wants to watch on screen.
And if he says yes will Emily and Bobby be able to handle Lincoln's tosspot sense of humour ?
And maybe Emily will find that Lincoln is not just a seat filler but also a person who maybe hiding his feelings behind the shield of sense of humour.
A new storyline, something that I have not read on Wattpad till now and it is completely enthralling and captivating. Immaculate writing and interesting plot with a spice of real world, read on to read one of the most cute goofy love stories.
