REVIEW-

                   This remarkable story starts in a tiki bar by a pool in a resort in Thailand .Our female protagonist , Genevieve Harding , has had a especially rough day and to relieve the tension she decides some drinks in the bar would do her good . Trying to secure a painting from a sleazy old man will be tiring enough for anyone . And while her boss, Jessica Monroe , berates her for not trying and hard to secure the painting there is someone else who is sitting on the opposite end of the bar completely awed by her beauty , her voice , her nameliterally everything about her was completely bewitching to that stranger .

                  As soon as Genevieve ends the call while grinding her teeth , silently fuming over her boss disregard of her safety , the stranger wastes no time before coming up to her to strike a conversation . And it seems like Genevieve was also completely entranced by the handsome stranger s looks . Tristan Maddox , our male protagonist , is instantly liked by Genevieve because his blonde hair and ocean hued eyes just take away her breath in a swift move.

                   The two introduce themselves finding that both live in Chicago , USA . Genevieve recognizes Tristan Maddox as Casey Matthews fiancée to which Tristan visibly gets tense and upset . Turns out it is Tristans birthday and he just on a little vacation time in Thailand to get away from things back at home . Thus , Genevieve tries to make his birthday a little fun since he is obviously away from his friends and family. They have fun all night long and the chemistry between them just grows stronger .

                        In the morning , when Genevieve wakes up alone and naked in bed and realises what she has done , she tries to run away fast from the resort to prevent any run-ins with Tristan. But as she is trying to go grab a coffee her eyes fall on Tristan and she tries to run away before he catches up with her but fortunately she fails to do so . Tristan tries to convince Genevieve he was just buying them breakfast but she isnt budging from the fact that she just wants to leave . She turns away from Tristan and falls to the ground in less than a second . She stands up but falls again and its then they both realize there is a earthquake shaking the whole coast of Thailand . They join forces and run to the top of the 2 story resort and then realizing that the earthquake has given way to a whooping 64 feet high Tsunami wave . They try to reach higher ground but are separated by the powerful wave .

                         Both go though their own struggles of trying to remain alive . Genevieve manages to climb a tree to reach higher ground and escape the second wave after being brutally injured by the first wave . She had broken a few ribs , had a large gash on her head and on the back of her leg . Some volunteers come and rescue her to take her to the land where she will receive medical aid . But she isnt certain if they managed to save Tristan or not . Having met the man just the day before didnt stop her from feeling a connection to him . Sitting there waiting for medical help she couldnt help but ponder if Tristan had made it alive or was already dead.

Will Tristan come out alive ?

And even if he does will he and Genevieve be able to reconcile ?

I have already spewed more than I planned to in this review oopsies .
