Part of the Series – Book 3 of Cassandra & Elijah Series
(Last book in the Series)
REVIEW –
The peregrination towards light subsists. Cassandra and Elijah are once again within each others hold free from the Beelzebub that persists on claiming Cassandra as his own mate and beholder of the title, Mother of Darkness.
When choosing Elijah, Cassandra chose light and with that she renounces her divinity by grazing land on Earth by being a mere mortal.
Danger and Evil lurk in the corners. With celestial eyes burning in their back, be they of God of Light or of God of Darkness, our protagonists continue to scour Earth relentlessly to determine the weapon of the Lord of Darkness and remove its existence from this universe.
While Samael continues to birth new troubles in their path with unabating determination, his temper and envy unswervable even by his own brother, Jehovah.
Whether Cassandra and Elijah eventuate to be the mere chess pieces in a long time coming ending of the chess game played by the God of Light and God of Darkness or whether they will be led to accomplish a task greater than both their understanding?
This series' ending is not one I can easily part away with but it is something that will be cherished in my heart and mind as something that even in its ending was not anything less than phenomenal.
It is quite obvious from the whole series that the Author has spend some good time in plotting out the whole story. Every little thing be it most the banausic or the most indispensable had a meaning, had a part to play in the long run. The characters were beautifully sculpted, not groomed to the embodiment of perfection but as beings who possess some flaws but nonetheless carry light in them. The characters were not the incarnation of purity but had committed sins to protect and safeguard their beloved. The villain was not completely immersed in evil but had some conscious in his cold heart. To wrap this review, even though I dont want to, well thought-out story with the potential to leave behind exemplary impression in the readers mind.
