REVIEW –
A contemporary Christian romance novel complete with enticing twists and turns has been served by Trisha Grace. The story begins with Kate Mitchell, our female protagonist, saying goodbye to Mr. William Hayes, who has been told that he only had a few hours left. Late Mr. Hayes left the world but with a promise from Kate to "help me to...... to help him". The "him" whom Mr. Hayes wanted to help is Tyler Hayes, his grandson and our male protagonist.
After crying for a few minutes Kate had to control herself to make all the funeral arrangements. She also had to tell Tyler Hayes that his grandfather had passed away and even though they had their differences he can still come to his funeral. Although, Tyler clearly states that he wants nothing to do with his funeral arrangements Kate still pleads to him to come home because she understands that his indifference and aloofness is just a way to hide the hurt he has been feeling for the last twenty years, since his grandfather abandoned him after his parents tragic death.
Despite saying he wants to do nothing with his grandfather's funeral, Tyler still comes home because Mr. Joel Sawyer, his grandfather's lawyer tells him that he has to be their to listen to his grandfather's will otherwise anyone else mentioned in the will not get anything. Thus even after his death Tyler still feels that his grandfather found a way to torment him. The will however brings up an interesting clause which leaves Kate and Tyler in an compromising situation.
While Tyler's personality goes down with the sun, Kate is a bundle of joy. Even though life had not dealt her cards nicely it didn't deter her from the path of kindness and forgiveness saying that God and his angels are looking out for her and will do what is in her best interest.
She decides to help a total stranger because that is who she is. But with Tyler's cold and reserved composure it might not be as easy and fun as she thought.
Being stuck with someone who is on the different side of personality spectrum and that too for a year will definitely not be easy.

Read this book to understand that nothing comes out of chasing the ghost of the past and it is better to let them go and move on.
