chapter 17 - lying game

Jason's POV
It's been a while I spoke or even seen Annabelle, I trust she's doing well so I never thought I'd see videos of my girlfriend going crazy on social media, the craziest part is she has been ignoring me, saying she has issues to handle, promising to get back to me as soon as possible being the Anna that I know and trust, I gave her time to think and figure things out, even Maddie called and told me what she has been up to, I felt bad for spashing out and decided to talk, but apparently when I called it seem she was in trouble.

A day later this video shows up with Belle going crazy at a party, I get it's college but she's drinking way too much. I just got back from the deans office days back, I planned on taking an academic leave to plan my life, everything happen so fast and, honestly law school was never for me, it was everything my dad ever wanted and I just couldn't keep up with it, I spoke with him and I decided am an adult now and, I need to make decisions for myself, I decided to take a year break just in case I change my mind and, not just drop out completely at least that's what I told everyone except him.

I decided to go see my friends cause, it's been a while, I saw Sophie, Belles friend before leaving, we hardly talk so it was more of a brief goodbye, I was back in california a day after her video was released, judging to the fact she kept ignoring my calls, I called that night to check on her but, it went straight to voice mail, I decided to let her work things out, I figure she would be at home facing the heat.

I'll say this though, that video was hot, I watched it a million times, which was why I felt so mad at myself, other guys saw my girl like that and, I wasn't there to cover her up, she was so drunk she couldn't control her actions, I felt bad for her, giving her time and space I went to see my main man Alex at stanford, he was killing it, crazy as ever still, but the school was rubbing off on him, he's still with his on and off relationship with Maddie it baffles me, those two can't go a minute without fighting or getting into each other's faces but somehow they manage to make up after that.

Alex was low keyed so he didn't even act surprise when he saw Annabelle's video, he called it "a work of art."  if he wasn't my best friend I'd hit him for flirting with my girlfriend, Maddie also came through and we got to hang, sad Dan and Anna couldn't make it though. So I decided I'll go see her finally tell her the news of me back and well catch up, I  got there and met up with Dan immediately, we talked and he told me partially all the trouble she has been through and her crazy roommate. He was just done with class and, he explained how Anna was distracted she left early, I knew it had to do with me ignoring her for like two weeks, but I was just giving her time, cause she always acts like she doesn't have the time in the world.

We decided to pay her a visit, we got to her dorm and the plan was to surprise her, but we met up with a surprise alright.

"Oow Daniel who's the cutie?" we met her roommate who was in a rush to go somewhere apparently.

"Where's Anna?" he stare at her firmly, even i can see the crazy.

"What do I care?" she pushed us before standing outside the door "now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with Bradley byeeee!" And she turned away flipping her hair before walking off, no wonder Belle is so worked up, I mean she did tell me about her, but I never thought she was this much of a drama queen, I just thought she was exaggerating, but that chick is crazy.

After realising she wasn't in her room, Dan suggested she needed air so she probably went somewhere quiet to be by herself, he called Jessica another of her friend and we decided to go to monets, it was a coffee shop near school and Anna loves coffee and well it was a bit not predictable she'll go there, cause usually there's one inside she goes to. We decided to go see if she was there, Jessica decided to tag along cause she hasn't seen her all day too.
