Disappearance

Suddenly, the door opened and Suigetsu, Karin and Jūgo walked in. "(Y/N), are you aware that you're being watched?" Suigetsu asked, concerned.

I looked down sadly as all four of them looked at me with curiosity. I knew what was going on. I let out a sigh then told them the truth. "They know that I'm a spy for the Hidden Leaf. They've been tailing me for a while".

"What are you going to do?" Sasuke asked softly.

I closed my eyes to stop my tears from falling. I tried to change the subject so he wouldn't find out my plan. I quickly tried to pack up my stuff, trying not to look any of them in the eyes, until Sasuke grabbed my wrist to stop me. "(Y/N), please!" I stared into his pleading eyes and found myself unable to lie to him.

I forced myself to look away as I whispered, "I can't".

He tightened his grip on my wrist. "I'm not letting you go until you tell me what's going on".

Eventually, I sighed. "If I tell you, you have to promise that you won't stop me, and you won't tell anyone. I don't want Itachi knowing, or my godparents". After a moment of hesitation, they all nodded. "I need to get inside the main base in the Hidden Rain. There are still a couple of unanswered questions before I can return home".

"So your plan is to get yourself captured?" Sasuke figured out. I gave him a sad smile. "That's not a plan, that's suicide!"

I cut him off. "You promised you wouldn't stop me. And I'm running out of time and options".

I moved to stand up when he tightened his grip on my wrist again and pulled me back down. "Just promise me you won't die. You said that if I died, a part of you would die as well, but it's the same for me too. You're the one person I can't lose".

I placed my hand on his cheek as I said, "I promise I'll come back to you". It was then that he finally let go of me. Once I was ready to leave, I turned to the other three. "I need you guys to do me a huge favour. Keep an eye on him. Make sure he doesn't push himself until he's at least 100% healed. Just to be safe, never let him out of your sight". They nodded nervously.

I made my way to the balcony but before I jumped off, I turned back to them. "One more thing, if you wanna find Itachi, you better hurry up. I just received some intel that the Hidden Leaf is also searching for him. I also ran into Naruto while you were fighting Deidara. Apparently, they think that capturing my husband and your brother will ultimately lead them to you and me". I turned back to the balcony. "Well, I guess I better go get myself captured. Good luck". I gave them one final wave before jumping off the balcony.

3rd person P.O.V

As soon as (Y/N) was out of sight, Sasuke turned to his teammates. "Follow her. Make sure she's alright. Let me know when the Akatsuki capture her". Everyone turned to Suigetsu as he was most suited for the job.

He shrugged his shoulders and sighed. "Alright, fine. She's kinda cute anyway".

Sasuke just glared at him until he was practically running off the balcony.

Suigetsu followed the girl with caution, careful not to alert the person tailing her. He noticed how she was purposely walking slow to give the Akatsuki the opportunity to capture her. He watched as a man in the Akatsuki robe wearing an orange mask dropped down behind her and hit her over the back of the head, knocking her out instantly.

He waited until the Akatsuki grabbed (Y/N) and disappeared into thin air before making his way back to Sasuke and the others.

As soon as he stepped into the room, everyone stopped and stared at him. "They got her," he informed them. "It was some guy with an orange mask with only one hole".
