I made my way to the back door and to the side of the house. The jacuzzi was outdoors in a balcony identical to the one in our room. It also had a clear view of the ocean. There was a little privacy there. It was covered at the sides and only the part in the front was open where we could see the ocean. No one came there so we were completely isolated in our own little world.
I went out into the cold, my arms immediately coming around me. Jake was already there in the jacuzzi by himself looking at the ocean.
The jacuzzi was filled up completely. There were blue lights in it. The blue lights were the only source of light here.
Jake looked up as I entered the balcony taking in my form. A small smirk formed on his lips as he saw me wearing his hoodie.
"I'll punch you if you even open your mouth." I warned him. I knew what Jake was going to say before he even opened his mouth.
He was going to make an inappropriate joke. The smirk on his face told me that.
He zipped his mouth shut.
I tied my hair in a messy top bun then took hold of the rim of Jake's hoodie. I could feel Jake watching me and I started to blush. I felt oddly shy.
I removed Jake's hoodie off me slowly. I looked at Jake. His eyes were roaming down my bikini clad body. His mouth was a little ajar and his eyes were clouded.
When his eyes finally met mine he gulped visibly. I felt pleased at his reaction.
Way to improve self confidence: Get naked in front of your boyfriend.
I climbed into the jacuzzi. It's warm water immediately calmed down my nerves. I closed my eyes and took in the soothing feeling of the hot water against my skin.
I slowly moved towards Jake. Jake's eyes were watching me cautiously. I decided to sit down beside him in the jacuzzi but his hand caught mine and he pulled me near him.
I relaxed against his chest. I could feel his breath on my cheek.
"It's looks so beautiful." I said as I looked at the vast stretch of ocean in front of me.
"Not as much as you." Jake whispered.
I looked up in his eyes. They were looking back at me with a glint in them.
I closed the distance between us and kissed him slowly but softly.
"Jake." I whispered. My forehead was against his, our noses almost touching. "I want to tell you something."
He kissed me again urging me to go forward.
"Jake, we went through so much. We both suffered through our personal hells due to this relationship. Our relationship hasn't been the easiest. It had its rocky hurdles which made us upset, made us cry and hell, even made us almost loose each other. But you," I cupped his face. "You never gave up on me. You cared for me, looked out for me and always had my best interests in your heart. Even when it wasn't your fault, you saw that my happiness was above yours. The time I spend with you is literally the best time. I can't keep up with how fast the moments slip by when I am with you. Whenever I try to remember the details all I can remember is how genuinely happy I was, how you made my heart soo full that it wanted to burst open. Jake, you are the one. You are my one. You are the one that my heart completely belongs too."
He stayed silent. His eyes were trained on mine the whole time.
"I love you Jake Mason." I uttered the words out finally. The words which never felt anymore real or more true. "You made me fall in love with you and that scares me because I never thought that I could love someone this much."
His brown eyes looked away from mine at the words. When he looked at me again, his eyes were filled with unshed tears.
He leaned in and hid his face in the crook of my neck, pulling my body tightly against his.
I combed through his silky hair as I felt his ragged breath against my shoulder.
Jake pulled away slightly. His eyes were still teary but they were lit with the brightest of lights. Genuine happiness was visible on his expression.
He cupped my face and kissed me softly, taking my breath away.
When he finally opened his mouth to speak, his voice came out shaky and husky than usual.
"Clarissa you are like this ball of happiness in my life that makes my life worth living. You make my life so bright with your presence that it gets hard to look away. My heart automatically starts beating fast when you walk in the room and when you smile that smile of yours." He sniffled lightly. "Ah. It gets so difficult not to pull you in my arms and never let go. You are worth every smile, every tear because you make me complete. You make me feel like the luckiest guy alive Clarissa. When you said these words I felt worth being loved and I never felt so happy." His voice cracked as he wiped off a tear that escaped my eye. "I can't even begin to tell you how I feel about you, it's inexpressible but I can start at saying this." Jake took in a deep breath. "I love you too Clarissa, so much that it feels like my heart is getting squeezed when I look at you."
My breath hitched at his words. I was full on crying.
His lips were covered with the most beautiful, genuine smile.
I moved my hands to the back of Jake's neck and smashed my lips on his. His lips moulded against mine and his hands caught hold of my face. One of his hand snaked around my waist while the other tilted my face to get a better access to my mouth.
His lips were hungry against mine. The pressure of his lips on mine was almost painful and I loved it. It felt like things suddenly changed between us after the confession. Our bodies were tightly pressed against each other. His lips devoured mine while I tried to maintain my balance. My hands roamed across his well defined chest and tugged at his hair.
His groan pleased me. Slowly he pulled away and started kissing along my jawline, planting hot passionate kisses along his trail.
My body was on fire. Jake pulled away to look into my eyes. His brown beautiful eyes were clouded and he was breathing heavily. Our eyes connected and it felt like an understanding passed between us two and I nodded. Jake took that as a sign and pressed his lips against mine again.
"I love you." He said between kisses.
I sighed not getting enough of him, "I love you too."
