The alarm started going on,scaring me out of my life again. This happened every morning. My friends decided to prank me by changing the normal alarm with Janice's laughter from friends. And the thing is after I was scared and they got me (bohoo!) the alarm wouldn't change back to its normal tune.

Mom was pretty happy about this because she told me that this new alarm made me get up on time.

I almost broke the alarm clock while trying to put it off and got up. Showered and nicely dressed I went down to my parents having breakfast.

Mom was,as usual,in her track suit, ready to go to the institute, was fussing around the kitchen finding fruits for everyone while dad was hidden behind his newspaper.

"Good morning." Dad smiled, his deep voice gentle and warm.

"Morning." I replied. What could possibly be good with mornings? Wait I know! Nothing. It's a pure torture getting up early and getting ready for school.

"So what's for breakfast dad?" I asked my father. Since my mother was a terrible and disastrous cook,my dad did all the cooking. He liked to cook and was great when it came to cooking. When he is out,me and mom usually order food at home because we both know that we can't cook in a million years. And if we will be able to,it will kill a hundred poor civilians.

"Eggs and toast." Wow,great breakfast dad. (Sarcasm included)

I groaned. "Again? We ate it yesterday as well." My dad gave me a sheepish smile, amusement in his grey eyes. "I was too lazy today." He shrugged.

I rolled my eyes and started eating my breakfast. "Fruits or cereal?" Mom asked from the kitchen. "Nothing!" I replied. I don't like fruits and I don't like milk. So nothing.

"Clary,it's important to eat healthy food. It's important for your body, you are in your growing years." Mom said, her voice stern.

"How much do you want me to grow?" I asked pointing towards me body. " I am already 5 foot 10. Taller than almost all girls and a few boys."

"No complain Clary,I am giving you an apple to eat." And like that my mornings began. Even though I had annoying parents, they cared for me and I loved them. Now I'll stop,I don't want to be mushy.

As I entered the school, I was attacked by a blondie. "Clarissa! Girl I missed you." I gasped, winded from the hug and rubbed my sore stomach where Taylor's elbow hit me.

"What the hell Taylor!" I stared at the golden haired beauty. "We met yesterday." I said in a duh tone.

"Yes I know but I have so many things to tell you." And with that the blabber mouth started with her tales about her charming boyfriend. Taylor had been my friend for the past five years. We became friends in the last year of middle school and came to this high school together. She had been with me through my thick and thins and I loved her for that.

"There you are,I was searching for you in the whole god damn school." A voice called. We turned around to come face to face with Samuel also known as Sam. Sam had been mine and Taylor's friend since we entered highschool. The past year Taylor confessed her growing feelings for Sam to him and they began dating. They have been the most adorable and cheesiest couple I have ever came across.

"Hi babe." Taylor chuckled at the annoyed expression on Sam's face and pecked his lips. And that, ladies and gentlemen was the start of a full make out session in front of me,in the school corridor. I turned around and walked away from them. They are just gross.

As I was walking I stumbled on my own feet and crashed into someone. I laughed at my clumsiness. "Sorry,I am very clumsy." I chuckled.

"I know that very well Clary." A voice chuckled, hands shooting out to grab my waist and stable me.

I looked up at the owner of the voice. Amused green eyes met mine. "Oh my god Adam!" I yelled and hugged my friend Adam.

Adam was my ex boyfriend. We dated for a few weeks but broke up because we found out that we were not each other's type. We both were interested in boys. Adam found out when we were dating and he broke up with me. I was very sad because I thought that no boy could ever like me until Adam told me the truth. Only his parents and I know the truth and no one else and he wants to keep it that way. From then we have grown close and stayed friends.

"How was your trip?" I asked. Adam had been gone for a week to his dad's.

"Same old. Drama and lots of drama." He shrugged suddenly looking very exhausted.

His parents were divorced and whenever they met, things went down and lots of drama was involved.

"Are you okay?" I asked, concerned. He shrugged again.

We walked to our class together talking and laughing. "So anything new happened while I was gone?" He asked. Green eyes searching my grey ones.

I sighed. "A lot." And with that I started to tell him everything. He was a great listener and often had great advice. After I completed the story he winced.

"Dance with that jerk? Poor you." He shook his head, worry in his eyes. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Adam knew everything that happened between me and Jake and how hurt I was.

"I have to be okay. It's nothing but dancing." I shrugged as if it was not a big thing but it was.

I have to convince myself that it will all be okay. Past will be overlooked here and only dancing will be involved. Then after 3 and a half month I'll be free again.

But I felt that it was not going to be easy as I thought.
