"Here we go." I sighed, seeing Chibs' mom driving into the garage.
She absolutely hated me.
I don't know why, she just always has.
Ever since I was in middle school with Kerri, she was never nice.
She visited when she found out I was pregnant & did nothing but make me feel stupid & guilty. To say I'm not a fan of hers isn't a lie, but I'm always nice.
Jax walked out of the clubhouse and laughed at me, must've seen the excitement on my face.
Chibs walked over to see his mom and I held Dakota behind him.
"Good luck." Jax whispered, putting his arm over my shoulder and I groaned.
"She's so rude."
"She's one of a kind that's for sure." He laughed & I seen her hug Chibs.
"She hasn't met Dakota hey?" Jax whispered & I shook my head.
"Not yet."
"Good luck baby girl." Jax whispered to her, kissing her forehead & then mine.
"Go see Tara and the boys later if you need to get away."
Thanks." I sighed, walking towards Kathy.
"Hi Kathy."
"Jade." She said sternly, looking me up & down.
"This must be Dakota." She smiled down at the newborn baby in my arms and Chibs grinned.
"I'm so glad you finally get to meet her."
"Oh she's gorgeous honey." She said, smiling up at Chibs and he nodded.
"That's all her mom." He smiled, kissing my forehead and I grinned up at him.
God I blush everytime he acted like that with me.
The biggest sweetheart.
"I actually think she looks like you mate." Kathy laughed and I rolled my eyes.
First one for the day, thanks Kathy.
"So how was the flight?" I asked her & she gave me side eye.
"Fine." She said firmly & I looked at Chibs.
Awkward.
Chibs looked down at me and mouthed 'sorry' and I shook my head.
He wrapped his arm over my shoulder and I sighed.
"I should probably take her inside for a bottle."
"I was just about to say that, she's very small."
"She doesn't eat a lot." I smiled down at Dakota as I held her.
"Maybe try feeding her more?"
"Mom..." Chibs warned, rubbing my back as he gave her a look.
"Oh of course, why didn't I think of that." I mumbled, mocking her & she raised an eyebrow.
"I'm just trying to help Jade."
"It's okay, baby you go give her a bottle & mom I'll help you with your bags." Chibs said, kissing Kota's head & then mine.
I nodded and walked into the clubhouse.
"Hey uncle Tiggy." I smiled, seeing him & Jax at the bar with Opie.
"Kathy killing you?" Opie laughed and I sighed.
"How'd you guess."
"You'll be right Jadey. She doesn't like anyone." Tig said, grinning.
"You tried to have sex with her last time she was here." Jax laughed and Tig shrugged.
"She's not nice but that doesn't mean she's unfuckable."
I cringed & the guys laughed.
Kathy walked in with Chibs & I fed Dakota her bottle.
"You want me to feed her?" Tig asked & I smiled.
"Yeah okay, thanks." I handed him the bottle then passed her over and he smiled down at her.
"Chibby I really didn't think anything that came from you could look so beautiful." Tig laughed and I grinned, looking over at him.
"The Teller genes must be strong." Chibs laughed and I rubbed her forehead.
"My pretty little girl." I grinned & Jax hugged Kathy.
"How are you Kathy?"
"Good Jax honey, you been okay?"
"Yeah, I'm always good." He smiled and she grinned.
Why the hell did she like Jax & not me?
I gave her a grandchild.
He's way more involved in the club & gang shit then I ever was.
I looked at Dakota again & Tig burped her.
"Makes me wanna have another one seeing her this little." Tig laughed and I grinned.
"You can look after her for one night, you'll remember why you don't want more." Chibs laughed, rubbing his forehead and I grinned.
"Come on Chibsy, you love having her wake you up bright & early."
He smiled & rubbed her stomach.
"She is the cutest little babe I've ever seen."
