"So this was Kota's daddy daughter dance with Clay." I smiled, showing Chibs the photos I took of her.
"She looks beautiful."
I smiled and he grinned at me.
"I told you you're a good mom."
"It was so fucking hard." I sighed, wiping my hair out of my face.
"I'm proud of you."
I looked up at him & smiled.
He still gave me those exact same butterflies.
"Lottie said momma." I laughed, remembering back to the day.
"She did? No daddy yet?" He grinned and I shook my head.
"She said her favourite parent only." I laughed and he smiled.
"Considering I've been gone for most of her life already, I don't blame her." He laughed and I sighed.
"Please don't do that to me again."
"I don't plan on it baby."
I sighed and he pointed at another picture.
"What's Bronte doing here?"
She had a little bikini on, with a sign beside her saying $1 car wash.
I laughed and he grinned,
"Oh god."
"Clay took her through a high school cheer team car wash & they all had bikinis on. So when she got home, she asked to wash my car. This is how she washed it."
He laughed and I rubbed my forehead, grinning.
"She worries me."
I smiled and he seen a photo of Lottie from her first birthday.
"Look at our baby."
I smiled and he sighed.
"I missed so much."
"But you're here now, that's what matters."
He sighed & I smiled.
"Kerri came to stay with us."
"She did?" He said, watching as I flicked the pages to a heap of photos with her, the girls & I.
"Yeah, I told her you were in & she took the next flight here. Stayed for a month."
He grinned & I smiled, I thought that'd make him happy.
"Tara put a good word in at the hospital for her & she went in for an interview. She moves here to start next month."
"She's living here?"
I nodded and he smiled.
"How did Fiona react to that?"
"As you'd expect. But Kerri loved it & I said she's got a room here if she wants it."
He grinned and I smiled up at him.
"All your babies back under your roof."
"You are unreal." He whispered, rubbing my thigh as he moved towards me.
I grinned & let his lips press on mine.
He pulled me onto his lap & I moaned.
"No sex for a year is enough to kill anyone." I mumbled on his lips & he pulled away from me, a grin on his face.
"You didn't sleep with anyone?"
"Of course not, did you?" I winked at him and he laughed.
"Guys aren't my thing baby, I think you know that."
