"Stay behind me."
I nodded & walked close behind him, holding my gun.
He held me against the pallets & we listened in on the voices.
"We did it boss."
"Mm, good."
I looked wide eyed at Chibs & he put his hand over my mouth.
Mayans.
"Nobody killed?"
"No sir, just enough to scare them."
"Good." They left & I looked up at Chibs.
"Baby..."
A guy walked past us & Chibs shot him in the chest, instantly killing him.
I winced & we quickly got back to our bikes, heading back to the club.
We walked inside & I grabbed the girls, taking them with me inside the chapel where Jax & Clay were.
"Mayans." Chibs said walking in & they both looked up.
"What?"
"Mayans were behind that drive by."
Jax groaned & looked up at Clay.
"Alvarez double crossed us." Clay said & the girls went out with Bobby & mom.
"What are we gonna do about it?" I said & Jax looked up at me.
"Hit them back."
Chibs sat on the other side of me & I sighed.
