-3 months later-
I walked into the garage with the three girls & smiled at the guys.
Clay walked out & grinned at the girls.
"Who's ready for daddy daughter dance tonight?" He yelled out & Dakota giggled, running to him.
"Me! I got my pretty dress here too pop pop." She smiled and I laughed.
"Oh well lucky you're wearing pink, because I've got something too."
He pulled a pink tie from behind his neck & she smiled.
"Yay, you're matching me grandpa."
"I sure am baby girl." He laughed, picking her & Bronte both up.
I nodded at Clay & he smiled, kissing my forehead.
"Come on, let's go get this princess in her dress." Clay smiled, putting his arm around my shoulder, leading us in to where mom was in the clubhouse.
"Hi grandma."
"Hi pretty girls. Oh my goodness, are you excited for your dance honey?" She asked, putting Dakota on her lap.
She nodded excitedly & I smiled.
I'm so glad she had this.We curled her hair & then I put a little ribbon in it.
She had her little pearl earrings in & a little bit of blush on.
"Oh my goodness." Mom smiled and I grinned.
"I don't even recognise you baby. Should we bring grandpa in to see you?"
She nodded and I opened the chapel door for Clay.
He walked in with his suit on, pink tie included & his hair combed back.
Dad could actually scrub up.
I smiled and he got down on one knee to her level.
He opened his hand & held a little pink flower corsage for her.
I grinned & he winked at me, putting it on her wrist.
"I love it grandpa."
"Well I'm so glad, you look like a real life princess honey."
She blushed & I smiled, grabbing my phone out.
I took some photos of them together, then one of her alone.
She looked to the side in one & I sighed.
"You okay baby?"
"I just wish Daddy was here."
I sighed & kissed her forehead.
"See these flowers?" I asked, pointing to the corsage on her wrist.
She nodded and I smiled.
"That's Daddy tonight. So he's right there with you dancing & having fun. Everytime you see the flowers, you know daddy's with you baby. He told me so."
She nodded and I smiled, putting her head on my chest.
"Now let's go princess, I think grandpas itching for a dance." I smiled and Gemma grinned, kissing his cheek.
"Don't break a hip pop pop." She laughed and I smiled.
"Yeah pop pop." Bronte mocked & I laughed.
"Bront, you're gonna be a handful aren't you." Clay laughed, ticking her stomach and I smiled.
"I think you're right about that." I laughed and Clay smiled down at them.
"Should we go Kota?"
She nodded & he sat her in the car seat, then waved to us as they drove to her school.
I took a breath & Gemma held Lottie beside me.
"He hasn't been to that dance since he took you."
"I remember, he's a good man." I smiled and she grinned, hugging me to her side.
"Chibsy will be out before you know it."
"I'm counting down trust me."
She smiled and I followed her inside, making myself a cup of tea.
