I packed the car & closed the boot, turning to face Chibs & Juice.
"I've gotta get on the road." I sighed, putting my hands on Chibs' chest.
"You sure you can't come?" I mumbled, giving him my best sad eyes.
He shook his head, grinning & I frowned.
"Sorry baby, Jax needs me today."
"Okay, well hopefully I don't meet a cute guy up there." I sighed & he squeezed my waist.
"Mm, very funny." He mocked & I grinned.
"Love you."
"I love you more, look after her please."
"Always." I smiled & he put Dakota in her car seat.
"Juice is gonna follow you up."
"No Chibs, we already discussed this. I don't need..."
"Too bad, he's going & Jax seconds it."
"You two are..."
"Looking after you, you're right, we are." He grinned, pulling me in close.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and sighed.
"Stay safe okay?" I whispered to him & he nodded.
"You got it baby, call me if you need anything." He whispered on my lips, then closed my car door. He kissed Kota goodbye then waved as I drove out of the garage.
We took the hour long drive to the wedding & I pulled over to the resort.
"Oh my goodness, this is incredible." I said, walking up to reception.
"Hi, Jade Teller for the Evans Wedding Party."
"Good morning Mrs Teller, please, let us take your bags & we will take you to your room."
I smiled and handed the guys my bags, then followed them with Dakota on my hip.
"That pool is gorgeous."
"Thank you ma'am, it's the only pool in the world shaped & sized like that."
"Wow."
We got to my room & I set our stuff down.
"Thank you very much guys." I said, then they left, leaving me to unpack.
I called my girlfriends & we arranged to meet in the pool.
I quickly put on a bikini & a dress over it, then got Kota dressed and put on our matching hats.
We walked down & I seen them all with cocktails in their hands.
"Hi ladies." I called out from the side & they all grinned.
"Jadey. How are you?"
"I'm good, oh my god it's been so long since I've seen you all. How are you?" I smiled, hugging them all.
"I'm getting married tomorrow." Sasha yelled & we cheered.
"I'm so excited to see your dress." I grinned & she winked at me.
"You are going to love it Jadey. And how is this little miss going?"
"Oh she's going alright." I laughed & Sasha smiled.
"I can't believe you're a momma."
"I know right, so weird to think I had the first one."
The girls smiled & I grabbed a cocktail.
"So what's been going on in everyone's lives?" I asked, as Halle held Kota.
"I'm pregnant." Halle laughed and my eyes widened.
"Oh congrats girl, how far along?"
"20 weeks."
"Oh wow, you look amazing!"
"Aw thanks Jadey, I feel good."
"I'm engaged." Brooke laughed and I smiled at her.
"Oh my goodness, that's so exciting! So another year and this will be you!"
"I hope so." She laughed and I grinned.
"How's Chibs?"
"He's good, such a good daddy to Kota. He wanted to come but him & Jax had some work to do."
Kota started kicking her legs & I smiled.
"Doesn't do anything in half this girl."
The girls laughed and we swam & drank for another hour.
We finally got out & walked up to the rooms to get ready for the rehearsal dinner.
I got dressed in my cream maxi dress & then got Kota in her little mustard jumpsuit.
"Oh you two look amazing." Chibs grinned through the phone.
"Hi daddy." I smiled, holding Kota up to the camera.
"I miss you my pretty girls."
"We miss you. How'd you go today with the Irish?"
He sighed & I gave Kota another biscuit.
"What happened?"
"He didn't like the plea."
"So?"
"So, we've already organised it with the Mayan's because we told them Jimmy would come around."
"Oh god."
"Mm."
"What's Jax saying about it all?"
"He's gonna meet with Jimmy again tomorrow to see if he can change his mind."
"What about Marks?" I groaned & he sighed.
"Anyways, hows the hotel?"
"It's gorgeous, we went for a dip in the pool with the girls today. Dressed & ready for the rehearsal dinner tonight."
"Good, you put a heap of sunblock on her?"
"Of course I did daddy." I laughed and he grinned.
"Just making sure she doesn't get burnt."
I smiled and Kota laid her head on my chest.
"Someone's super tired after that swim. I probably should've let her sleep before we went to dinner but time went too quick."
"She'll be okay, she'll get tired from everyone passing her around."
"Mm for sure. How's your mom? Still being a p..."
"She's here with me Jade, say hi." He quickly stopped me from what I was about to say & she walked behind him.
"Hi Jade."
"Hi Kathy." I said through gritted teeth, smiling.
"How's Kota doing?"
"She's good, tired but good."
"She eaten today?"
I looked at Chibs & smiled,
"Okay bye I've gotta go. I love you."
"I love you more babe." He sighed and his mom glared at me.
I ended the call & swore under my breath, then got my bag & headed for the dinner.
