another year rolled around and life's boring. jason and maddie live at mattias place now because their father had died from cancer and because mattias dad loved him like a brother he took the kids in like they were his own. jason and i are still going strong a few arguements but we got over them. lowkey feel like having a kid but i'm scared because last time my baby didn't make it and i can't stand to lose another child.
jason and i we're leaving town for a bit today for a break. he's been stressed lately because the whole mafia thing, i bet he didn't think that through when he took the offer.
roshaun and alvaro had moved to florida, kayden, kairi and i bought a house yes we all live together, alejandro still hangs around i don't think he wants to leave his parents and brother. vic and taylor have been visiting a lot, i think vic and ale are thinking of getting back together after how long.
anywho jason invited me and my brothers over to dinner with mattias parents. because today is mattias 21st birthday, i had a little cry this morning yeah yeah i know. alejandro was debating on coming, the boys i know are still hurt over mattias death i mean they were bestfriends for the longest.
me and the two boys pulled up and went inside, alejandro was in there already weird i didn't think he'd come. mattias mom had made a lot of food looked great, me and jason sat out by the pool and just talked till everything was ready. "would you hate me if i said i missed mattia" i say resting my head on his shoulder, "of course not, believe it or not i miss him too" jason says, "yeah no i don't believe that" and we just laughed. "you two get in here foods ready" mattias mom shouts and we race inside like little kids.
we dug in, then the door opened everyone looked back and you wouldn't believe who walked through the door.the one and only MATTIA POLIBIO, "y'all eating without me" he chuckles, everyone ran over to him and pulled him into a hug. i stayed seated frozen and not wanting to move, hes alive. he looked so different, new haircut he had tattoos on his neck and arms and even a nose ring.
mattias parents were crying and kairi and alejandro were almost there aswell. the twins and kayden were just as shocked. "what you ain't miss me" he says looking over at me, i couldn't speak i was just shook.
a lady walked in behind him and she had kid around 1 on her hip, "oh mom, dad, this is my girlfriend" mattia says, my heart broke all over again. let me guess that's his kid aswell, "dadda" the kid says reaching out for mattia.
the boys looked back to me with a sympathetic look i got up and squeezed past everyone to leave. jason chased after me but i carried on walking home. "y/n wait where are you going" he says trying to catch his breath. my eyes were filled with tears threatening to escape my eyes. "just go back i'm fine" i shout, "your not" he says, "just go back please" i cry and he nods, "i'll pick you up later" he says before leaving.
i ran inside the house and straight to my room, i laid in bed and cried. he was dead, why did he come back like he didn't just die three years ago. and he didn't come looking for me instead he got a girlfriend and had a kid.
after being a fat sook i got up to shower, you know what i didn't need him these past three years ago i don't need him now. i got dressed into sweat pants and hoodie and headed back to mattias, i walked in completely ignoring mattia playing with his kid. mattia looked up at me for a sec before looking back to his kid.
i sat with kairi and alejandro and just talked, "you good sis" kairi asks and i nod, "are you sure, you did storm out earlier" alejandro said making me glare at him "i'm fine now shut up" i say. "why did you come back here" alejandro asks, "in case you forgot there's a murderer out there and i don't wanna die... yet" i say, "oh yeah that was me, don't worry i won't kill you" mattia smirks, of course it was mattia killing people why didn't i think of that. he's a whole psycho.
"pa i want to be don again" mattia says and his father looks at jason, jason nods "sure son, we'll announce it tomorrow" mattias dad says. "yeah no i want to do it right now" mattia says, mattias father nodded and spread the news the don had returned.
before we knew it there was a bunch of people here, they talked about mattias return and how he's don now. "so what about the girl is she under your protection" a guy asked mattia, he looks at me like and had a thinking face "no she ain't do whatever y'all want" he says. everyone was shocked, "no one touches her" jason says, mattia stormed upto jason and got in his face "and who the fuck are you" mattia spat, "wow" kairi says, "come on sis let's leave" kayden says, and so we did. alejandro looked at mattia and shook his head, "ay wait for me" alejandro says, "yeah and me" maddie shouts, "i'm coming" jason says and we all squeezed into my car.
we pulled up at home and went inside, we locked all the doors and windows and just sat in the lounge, "he's crazy" maddie says and i nod, "he basically said they could kill you" kayden says. we all just talked for the rest of the night.
