Chapter 33-Liam

The bell rang and it was total chaos as everyone started cheering and rushing out of class. We just got finished with our last class of the school year which means it's summer break.

Everyone talking about what they're gonna be doing all day some say sleeping some say partying whatever they have planned. I walked out of my class with all my friends all of us talking about whatever.

Emily and I apologized to each other and now we are back to friends again. Just friends. Yay! I'm frustrated about that but other than that problem I'm completely happy and excited.

"I'm so excited for tonight!" Chris exclaimed as he jumped up behind me.

I put my hands in my short pockets as I shrugged and smiled "Yeah it's gonna be fun."

"What's tonight?" Emily asked and Chris looked at her all shockingly "You forgot!"

"We are going to the beach party remember? And you said you were the most excited." Sarah tsked shaking her head in mock shame. Did I mention that we also made up and now she's part of our group.

Her and Trisha had a falling out a couple weeks after we broke up, turns out Trisha was just using her for popularity. Who would've thought?

"Oh yeah right I completely forgot." She laughed before looking at her phone again. We all walked out of the school and parted ways.

"We are still going to the mall right? For our bathing suits." I heard Sarah say to Sophia and Emily watching as they nodded there heads.

Now it was just me and Andrew. "You sure that's not awkward?" He asked as we walked on the pavement.

"What?"

"You liking Emily while your ex-girlfriend is in the group who happens to be dating your best friend?" He clarified. I shook my head as I thought about it.

"Nah it's not awkward. People can't help who they grow feelings for it's not Justin and Sarah's fault for falling for each other."

He was silent but nodded in agreement.

"You need a date for the beach party."

"Why?"

"Cause I'm pretty sure Chris is bringing a date and you and Emily aren't dating so Sophia and Sarah might be convincing her to bring one, and I heard she's inviting that dude Connor."

"Connor? Who's Connor?" I asked

"Umm remember that dude who threw that party?" I nodded my head

"Yeah him. They met at the party I guess and now they can't stop talking that's why Emily was on her phone this whole time."

I dropped my shoulders in disappointment when I thought about them becoming a thing....."Do you think they like each other?"

Andrew smirked amused before shaking his head "Nah I asked Emily and she said he has a girlfriend and she likes someone already."

I nodded silently thinking everything over. What if that person is me? Damn I hope so.

"I actually plan on asking Emily out tonight." I say with a cheeky grin and the look on Andrews face was priceless

"Dude no way!"

"Chris let go of me!" Jonathan squealed as Chris flung him over his shoulder and walked to the water.

Emily walked up beside me with her hands on her hips "I cannot believe those two got together. I would've never guessed it." she said with surprised and shock.
