Childhood friends Thirdy and Bea turning into more than just friends? Is that even possible?

I wore the ring when Thirdy asked me to. Before we left the restaurant, I was already engaged in the most unromantic way.
"Bawi na lang ako sa kasal, Babe." He promised.
We went to Cainta after, good thing it was a Monday which means my car is coding so I have to use the Grab service going to the restaurant, but because Thirdy is here it was easier for us to move from one place to another. Thirdy wanted to go to LGV first, but because no one is there except the helpers we decided to go to Cainta first.
I was glad to see them all again. Manong and Ate Ly was there, Dani just came in time from school. Of course, Tito Bong and Tita Mozzy was home. Ate Ly was quick to notice the ring on my finger.
"Wow, Thirdy, suot na ng may ari ung singsing. Ibig sabihin pwede na talaga tayo magcelebrate?"
And everyone was quick to check the ring on my finger and congratulated us.
"Naku, Kuya, umayos ka na ha baka next time hindi ka na siputin ng bride mo." Tita Mozzy was bullying Thirdy about the previous wedding that he was supposed to have.
"Mama naman, eto na naman tayo. Hindi na ito aalis sa tabi ko. Kaya nga hindi ako naglaro sa season na ito kasi sasamahan ko na lang si Bea, bodyguard ako nyan para makita nya na good boy naman talaga ako."
"Ate Bei, family picture tayo!" Dani's favorite whenever she is with me.

"Si Kuya naman, inunahan ako eh!" Dani was so annoyed, Thirdy was quick to upload our "new" family picture.
"O Thirdy, ano na gagawin natin sa condo sa Vita?" Manong asked Thirdy, then he faced me, "Alam mo ba yan pinapunta ako dito para pagusapan ung condo nya sa Vita tapos nilayasan ako kasi pala magpppropose."
"Babe, benta na ba ung Vita?" Thirdy asked me.
"Don't you want to use it anymore?" I asked him.
I just feel that the condo was his first investment, but I am torn, just hearing the Vita condo still makes me feel as if there was a sharp pierce in my heart.
"Maybe you can throw the bed na lang." I suggested.
"Titira ka dun?" Thirdy asked, he looks baffled.
"Hmmm I don't think so haha, sorry, I just can't."
They all looked at one another and I study their movements.
"It's okay, Bea, we understand naman. Baka nga magtaka pa kami kung gugustuhin mo tumira dun."
"Uy Dani, baka pwede magusap muna sila Bea and Tito Elmer, sugod agad?" Manong laughingly asked her.
"Sorry, excited lang." Dani said.
"Why don't we, in the meantime, plan for your wedding dress, Bei?" Ate Ly asked.
"Agad?" I asked them.
"Oy Thirdy, kelan nyo ba balak magpakasal?" Ate Ly asked him.
"Agad agad, we don't have much time, ayoko matapos ung conference ng single ako, sayang oras."
We were all shocked when Thirdy said that. It means that we really don't have much time, we had to keep the ball rolling.
"Wait, babe, wala pa tayo napagusapan, ni hindi natin alam saan ang church, saan ang reception, we don't even have a motiff."
"And we have to organize a Despedida de Soltera party for Ate, wag na si Kuya, tapos na yan matagal na." Dani was obviously having fun annoying Thirdy.
We went inside Dani's room and searched for an ideal dress along with Ate Ly and Tita Mozzy.
"Bea, iha, lika check these dresses, baka may magustuhan ka." Tita Mozzy said to me.
They showed me the wedding dresses through Dani's gallery on her laptop.
"These are a lot. Bakit ang dami nito, Dani?" I asked her, surprised.
"She's had those pictures for a long time, she saved them all for you." Tita Mozzy said and I was astounded.
"Kaya, Ate Bei, pwede ka pumili jan kahit ano kasi lahat yan bagay syo." Dani said as she showed me each piece.
"Oh I like these, pakita ko kay Thirdy. Just the way I want my wedding motif to be."

"Babe, look at this, tell me what you think. I like this gown."
"Wait, Bei, I got a text from Loel na. Punta na tayo sa inyo." Thirdy said.
I didn't know he was texting with Kuya.
"Mamanhikan na tayo?" Dani asked.
"No, excited ka! Ako na muna pupunta dun and I will schedule na lang yan pamanhikan. I will talk with Tita Det and Tito Elmer first."
"Goodluck, Thirds." Everybody told him when we prepared to leave for LGV.
"Danyot, please save that dress for me." I reminded her on our way out.
In the car on our way to our house, I wanted to make sure that Thirdy is okay. I can see his fingers tapping on the wheel and I know when that happens, something is making him nervous. I guess, coming up to my family, especially, my dad makes him nervous.
"Babe?" I called for his attention.
He must have been spaced out, lost in his own thoughts.
"Babe?" I called him again.
"Uhmm, sorry, ano ba un?" he finally spoke.
"Okay ka lang?"
"Yup!"
"Nervous?"
"Kind of lalo na at alam ko medyo masama pa loob ni Tito Elmer sa akin. But we have to get this over and be done with it, otherwise, hindi tayo makakaplano."
"Babe?" I asked again, "we can postpone this, you know."
"Hell, no, it's now or never."
Parked outside my house, he took my hand.
"I swear, you will be a Ravena even before you know it." Thirdy said.
