Levi x Reader (Humanity's Strongest x Humanity's Weakest)

Chapter 1

My name is Y/N L/N, I am a new member of the survey corps but I'm not here by choice my father thought it would be a good idea to chuck me in mortal danger.

A fist comes my way and I only just manage to dodge it and fall to the ground, dust flies into my face making me sneeze.

Mikasa helps me up and says, "Y/N, I know you're new, but you need to fight back", she gives a small smile, I get up with her help and say, "I know I'm sorry", Mikasa puts a hand on my shoulder before she says, "You too soft Y/N, we might need to fix that before going onto the battle field".

Eren huffs and puffs as he reaches us, "Y/N! Mikasa! I was-", he coughs and clears his throat, "I was told to tell you that Levi is arriving today to meet the new cadets!", he finishes.

Mikasa and I exchange looks, I ask awkwardly, "Who's Levi?", Mikasa says, "Levi is our corporal, I told you this yesterday", I laugh nervously, "Oh right, sorry I forgot" and rub the back of my head in embarrassment.

~Later on~
I line up with the other cadets, I didn't know many other cadets except Historia, Mikasa, Annie, Ymir, Armin and Eren the rest were merely aquatencies.

Erwin walks to the front along with a short man with black hair, they stop and stand before us, Erwin looks so proud while man looks like he could snap thy neck.

Everyone is silent until Erwin's voice booms across the rows and rows of cadets, "Listen up! Some of you are new but I gathered all of you here because we will be going on an expodition, this is your Corporal, Levi Ackerman!", Erwin nods to the short man.

Erwin continued, "Before the expodition you need to get ready, go deal with that now please!", and with that the cadets scurry off leaving me in the dust looking around rapidly not knowing where to go or what to do.

So I decided to run off where a big bulk of cadets went.

~(Levi's POV)~
I watch as a female cadet looks out of place, and I noticed she is lost I was tossing whether or not I should help the brat until she finally made her way to the cadets going to the 3DM Gear.

I sigh, Erwin gives me a look and says, "Are you alright Levi?", I look at him and nod before I say, "That H/C girl is new isn't she?", I point to the one running off, Erwin smiles and says, "Yep, Cadet L/N, I know her parents they are good people but word around the place is she's humanity's weakest", I gave Erwin a blank stare.

"What do you mean humanity's weakest?", I ask crossing my arms, Erwin does the same gesture and says, "She's too soft, I don't think she has even faced a titan before and to be honest I'm afraid if she does, she's so innocent", he looks over at the girl who is pretending to look natural getting the gear before accidently tripping over the boxes.

I sigh, "She will be dead for sure.."

~(Y/N POV)~
I put on the 3DM Gear and smile proudly at myself Historia approaches me and asks, "Hi Y/N, are you going to be okay out there?", I smile and say, "I will be fine Historia, don't worry about me".

~Wall Maria the hole has been re-opened~

"How did this even happen?" I ask as we all stand on the wall looking at the titans walking through the city, Armin stares at the hole that once had a massive stone in it and says, "We are not really sure, we presume titans piled onto it and managed to get it out of the way".

Erwin turns to the cadets and splits them off in groups, I am in Eren's group which has Mikasa, Armin, Reiner, Bertholt, Jean, and of course Eren.

As all the cadets jump off the wall and enter the city I am stuck on the wall trying to remember how to use my gear, Levi sighs and approaches me.

"Cadet L/N!", The angry male yells, I get a fright and salute, Levi says, "What are you doing? Go to your group!", the color left my face I start to stutter, "I-Um, C-corporal I just f-forgot how to get m-my gear working", Levi "Tch's" me and says, "That's because the hooks jammed you picked up one of the crap gears", he bends down and adjusts the hook in the gear.

"Now fire it into the city", he says standing back up, I nod and activated my gear, I flew to the nearest house with ease.

Levi joins me before disappearing somewhere else to do his job as humanity's strongest.

~5 minutes Later~
I hadn't even come across one titan, the groups are taking them down so fast and I am left.... Lost... I'M LOST IN THE CITY!?

I grapple to a house and swing, once I am on the roof I look at my surroundings, I only just see Ymir slicing a titan over three rows of houses.

I take in a deep breath and exhale, then a gust of wind blows my hair from behind I turn around got a glimpse of a titans massive face and darted across the city in fright.

My heart pounds and my breathing is quick the titan was on the roof! I didn't even know they could get onto houses!

I flew pass titans trying to grab me and abnormals chasing me I finally made it too safety.

I stood on a small house looking at a 10 meter high titan not far across two rows of houses I took a step back hoping it won't see me when I realize there is nothing to step back onto and ended up falling on the ground in a tight corner between the house and the wall.

No titan for sure can catch me at all in this narrow space.

I am so scared, my heart wouldn't calm down and I sat on the ground in a fetal position always looking around.

Will I be stuck here forever...?
