Chapter 4 | You Had a Secret Zoo?

Jiro's Pov.

  'Is he ever going to stop!? Kyoka this, Kyoka that! If he wants to talk to me at all, he should call me "Jiro"!'

  "Hey Jiro?" Mina asked.

  "Yeah, what is it?" Jiro looked at her.

  "Have you seen Ochaco anywhere?" she questioned.

  "No... I haven't seen her all day," Jiro admitted.

  "Weird," Toru walked up to them, "Everyone that Mono invited here is here besides Ochaco and..."

  "And who?" Mina wondered aloud.

  "Midoriya," Toru told her.

  'That's really strange...'

  "Wait, really?" Mina asked.

  "No joke!" Toru squealed.

  "I'm going to talk to Momo," Mina started walking into the house. No, not house, mansion.

  "Hi Kyoka," Kaminari walked over.

  "What you do want now?" Jiro crossed her arms to resist the urge to punch him.

  "Just to talk to you Kyoka," Kaminari touched her shoulder.

  "Stop touching me!" Jiro tried to punch him but he stepped out of the way.

  "Are you guys dating?" Toru asked.

  "No! I would never date this idiot!" Jiro told her, "And what makes you think we're dating? I just tried to punch him!"

  "He's calling you by your first name," Toru said.

  "He's only trying to get a reaction out of me," Jiro grumbled.

  "Leave my friend alone! You're only trying to get a reaction out of her!? That's such a horrible thing!" Toru yelled at him.

  Kaminari just looked confused, and it only made Jiro more annoyed.

  "It's okay Toru," Jiro sighed, "Don't get wrapped up in my problems..."

  "But... But..." Toru tried to argue.

  "Don't worry," Jiro put a hand on her shoulder, or tried to because she missed.

  "Leave us alone," she turned to Kaminari.

  "Why?" Kaminari asked.

  "We don't want you here," Jiro told him.

  "What if I want to be here Kyoka?" Kaminari questioned, she tried to punch him, but he stepped out of the way.

  "Nobody cares!" she huffed.

  "Is it that, or do you just not care?" he wondered aloud.

  "Ugh! I-" Jiro was cut off by Mina.

  "The Love Birds finally arrived!"

  They were running over, panting.

  'Where did they come from..?'

  Their faces were red, but not just from running, they were blushing too.

  "What took you guys so long to get here?" Momo asked, "I let you in my property an hour and a half ago."

   "They were probably-" Ashido looked like she stopped herself, and then she giggled, "I won't say what I'm thinking just this once."

  'Nah, they're too much of Cinnamon Rolls to be gone for reasons like that...'

   Mina winked at them.

  "What were you guys doing, ribbit?" Tsu asked as she walked over to them. She brought her pointer to her cheek.

  "Well, I think we probably took a wrong turn or something and ended up in this whole zoo and garden thing..." Deku panted.

  "I don't believe you..."Ashido looked at them quizzically.

  "Fine..."Uraraka took out her phone, and her face got redder and redder.

  'Is she okay..?'

  She held her found out and there were adorable pictures of her and Midoriya taking pictures in front of animals. A lot of animals...

Kaminari's Pov.

  The pictures of Midoriya and Uraraka were really wholesome and cute. They really looked like a couple... Would that ever be him some day?

  He glanced over to Jiro for some reason.

  Kaminari turned his gaze back over to Uraraka's phone.

  'Why did I look at Jiro?'

  "You had an entire zoo on your property and you never showed us!?" Hagakure exclaimed.

  Yaoyorozu looked away and pushed her index fingers against each other.

  Soon, Uraraka stopped and put her phone away.

  "It was supposed to be a secret endangered species breeding program in hopes that some day we will be able to release them," she told everyone nervously, "And the flowers are there for decoration, but some of them are also endangered and they're part of the program too."

  "Now that we know about it... Can we look at it tomorrow instead of coming back to the pool if we want?" Uraraka asked.

  Koda nodded his head in agreement.

  "But you guys already spent an hour and a half in there, didn't you see it all?" Ojiro commented.

  "I didn't get to see all of them... I probably only saw half of the place with Deku..." she didn't look at them, just pushed her pointers together like Yaoyorozu had.

  'Wow!'

  "Half the place!? What you just showed us could have been a zoo on its own!" Ashido shouted.

  "Okay, tomorrow whoever wants to come to the zoo, I will give you a tour unless you want to split up on your own," Yaoyorozu sighed, "But don't tell anyone or share your pictures with anyone, through texting or just showing someone next to you, got it?"

  "Yay!" Uraraka cheered.

  That was when Ashido pulled her away from the group.

  Everyone went back to what they were doing.

  Sero was talking to Jiro again... that feeling came back the feeling that there was something squirming under his skin. He wanted to step in... but should he?

  'No. She can do what she wants. She's her own person. I shouldn't get involved...'

  This time, he just resisted the urge and looked away.

  Kaminari sat at a table alone and sighed, trying to suppress that feeling. 

  'What's this feeling? Out of everyone here, the only one I want to talk to is Kyoka... But why?'

  "I've never seen you looking this sad looking, ever," Ashido walked over to him, "What's up?"

  "I'm not sure what you're talking about," Kaminari sat up a little bit.

  "Is it because of that?" she pointed at Kyoka and Sero.

  That feeling came back and he sighed again. Kyoka didn't even look too annoyed at him. Not like she did when he was talking to her.

  'What is she talking about?'

  "I'm not following," Kaminari looked back at her. He was really confused about his own feelings at the moment.

  "It's not too hard of a question," Ashido went on, "Do you like Jiro?"
