Chapter 16 | Bus Ride..?

Jiro's Pov.

  She walked into her classroom, being one of the first there she sat down and sighed.

  'Why can't they just stop already? I'm not interested in Sero and I bet that Kaminari made a bet to play me! Well, it's not gonna work! I'll steer clear as much as I possibly can!'

  Most people started pouring into the classroom.

  Uraraka was already sitting at her desk and watching the chaos unfold.

  Already, Bakugo had his feet up on the desk and Iida was lecturing him about it. She also noticed that Mineta was staring at all the girls. Tsu slapped him. Kamianri... that perverted idiot! He was laughing at it! 

  Jiro walked over and slapped him.

  'I was planning on not coming anywhere near him, but I can't leave him laughing!'

  A minute or two later, Mr. Aizawa walked into the room.

  Everyone immediately stopped talking and sat in their seats.

  "You're going camping for a week... Pack and come back within an hour... Class rep, here are some of the extra details..." after he handed Iida a stack of paper, and zipped up his yellow sleeping bag.

  'Wait, what!?'

  She noticed everyone was running out of the room, so she started walking too.

  Jiro packed and went back to the classroom. Jiro was a little late, so the seating arrangement was already up.

 "Looks like Tsu and I are sitting together..." she nodded her head. That would be nice. At least it wasn't Sero or Kaminari... She looked at the other seating arrangements. Unfortunately for her, Kaminari was on the row next to her... 

  Jiro sighed.

  They started walking out to the bus area and when they got there, Iida started yelling at them to get in line.

  She looked back at the school. Class 1-b wasn't coming with them, were they? Jiro could see them staring at her class through the window.

  What did it matter to her that the other class wasn't coming? That was just how it was.

  They all took their seats on the bus.

  Toru and Midoriya were sitting in the seats ahead of them.

  'Good... no Mina...'

  But then Mina came over and asked Midoriya if they could switch seats and he nodded.

  Jiro looked around to see where her friend was sitting before.

  Oh, look at that. It was next to Uraraka. Of course it was.

  And now Mina was near her and Kaminari... How was this so perfectly planned out?

  "Hey guys!" Mina greeted them.

  "Hi," Kaminari smiled.

  Jiro just waved. She didn't want to get mad at her friend...

  "You're all going to have a partner during this camping trip... I'll tell you why when we get there... It's the person next to you..." the teacher announced in an unexcited way.

  "Well, I'm glad you're my partner Tsu," Jiro nodded her head.

  "It's better than Mineta, ribbit," Tsu agreed.

  'As long as Kaminari doesn't talk to me too much, this bus ride will be bearable...'

  

Kaminari's Pov.

  He was sitting next to Tokoyami. He didn't talk much. Kyoka looked like she didn't really want to be talked to.

  'Well, there's Ashido...'

  "Ashido, where do you think we're going?" Kaminari asked her.

  "Probably to a camp like the Wild Wild Pussycats," she thought aloud, "But UA's so crazy that you never actually know."

  "Yeah," Kaminari nodded his head.

  "Or maybe we're not even going to a camp and we're actually going to do a mission," Kyoka chimed in, "Eh... probably not, but I might as well say it."

  'So she did want to be talked to...'

  He felt kinda bad...

  But he thought that she was mad at him... Why did she join into the conversation?

  "Maybe you're right," Kaminari nodded his head.

  "Truth or dare Kaminari?" Ashido asked him.

  "We're starting this again?" Kyoka crossed her arms.

  "Truth," Kaminari shrugged. He just wasn't in the mood for a dare...

  "If you could sing one song right now to Jiro, what would it be?" Ashido asked.

  "We Could Happen," Kaminari answered, "But I'm not going to because Kyoka's annoyed with me as it is."

  "You and Sero," she sighed.

  "Then why did you join into the conversation?" Ashido asked Kyoka.

  "Er... Tsu's asleep," she lied.

  "No I'm not, ribbit," Tsu turned her head to look over at them, "I'm just looking out the window."

  "Also your body language clearly says you're lying," he and Ashido said at the same time.

  They laughed.

  Kyoka just looked more annoyed by this.

  "Kyoka, truth or dare?" Kaminari asked.

  "Truth," she played it safe.

  "If you had to sing a duet with me right now, what song would it be?" Kaminari questioned.

  "Anything You Can Do," she smiled, "Anything you can do, I can do better."

  "Hah," Kaminari played along.

  "I can do anything better than you," she sang.

  "No you can't," Kaminari went along.

  "Yes I can," Kyoka smirked.

  They trades the "No you can't"s and "Yes I can"s for the part of the song and then laughed.

  "Can you guys sing the song for me sometime?" Ashido asked.

  "Sure, maybe when we get to where ever we're going," Kaminari nodded his head, "If Kyoka's okay with that."

  "Maybe," she nodded her head.

  "Mina, truth or dare?" 

  "Dare," she responded.

  "Take a picture of Ochaco and Deku while they're asleep and then shop it to them while we're at a rest stop," she pointed to the pair who were leaning on each other while they were asleep.

  "Oh my god! They're adorable!" Ashido smiled and took a picture.

  "And then I'll add this to their scrapbook," Ashido nodded to herself.

  "Wait... you have a scrapbook?" Kyoka looked a little taken aback.

  "Yeah," Ashido nodded, "For all the couples I help get together, I keep one for myself to remember it and I give one to the pair when they get together."

  "What if they don't get together?" Kaminari asked.

  She turned to him with a serious expression, "My ships always work."
