Chapter 52 | School

Jiro's Pov.

  The next morning came slowly, but at least she wasn't lonely. Her friends were there, Kaminari was there. It was slightly pleasant. 

  Training also came and gone. Next it was school.

  School- No, there was something different about it this time.

  "Midoriya, Uraraka, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, Jiro, Tokoyami, Tsu, Ojiro, Hagakure. See me after class," Mr. Aizawa told them as he walked into the room.

  Anyone in the class would have thought it was random people being called- but Jiro knew that this group was not ordinary. It was the nightmare squad. Or... That was what they were calling it at least. She didn't really care what it was called as long as it had a name.

  Class sped by, and they went up to see their teacher.

  "I am aware of your..." he paused, glancing at them before looking back to a stack of paper he was holding, "Situation."

  They all nodded, but Jiro was kind of freaking out on the inside. Recovery Girl was the only one that knew about this, so she must have told him... So did she tell him that she had a maybe crush..?

  "I'm going to give you all guidelines you must follow to increase your chances of survival," Mr. Aizawa told them, "You are all going to take a new class that starts from homeroom until the end of the period that ends right when hero basics starts."

  He handed them all a piece of paper. It included details on this new class.

  "You will not neglect your other classes though and you'll be getting homework for it every night. I trust that Iida can help you out to catch up on the day," Mr. Aizawa continued, "Unlike any other class, this class is on weekends too."

  Kaminari groaned a little bit next to her, but not loud enough for the teacher to hear.

  "You will all also follow these guidelines," Mr. Aizawa handed them another sheet of paper, "And you will also be questioned later."

  Jiro nodded her head again and took a closer look at the guidelines. One said "You will not leave campus" which kind of made sense. Another said "You will notify us every time you have one of these nightmares" that one definitely made sense. But then there was... "You will all sleep in the common room"..? She felt shock rush through her. What if Mineta tried to sneak down there!? But then she read on and it said "We already thought through the idea that your classmates might try to pull something while you're sleeping, which is why we have installed automatic locks that close at nine, but you will be locked out if you don't get there by then."

  She sighed in relief at that, but she was still nervous to sleep in the same room as... the five boys that were involved with this... Well... That was something that she would just have to figure out...

  "You will continue your classes for the rest of today, but your new class will start on Monday," Mr. Aizawa told them, "You are dismissed."

Kaminari's Pov.

  'Great... school on the weekend...'

  He glanced over to Kyoka.

  'Well, I'm not in this alone and Kyoka will be there... So maybe it's not going to be so bad...'

  He started walking next to Kyoka.

  "What do you think of the guidelines?" Kaminari asked.

  Jiro looked in a completely different direction than his eyes.

  "I think they're... for our own good..." she responded, hesitation in her tone.

   "Yeah," he nodded his head, "Wait... I didn't actually read them all..."

  He took a closer look at them, but when he saw "You will all sleep in the common room" he realized just how awkward things would be...

  That was when he banged into something hard.

  "Ouch..." Kaminari looked up from the paper in his hand. 

  He had banged into a wall.

  "Idiot, you should watch where you're going," Kyoka scolded him.

  Kaminari smiled, she cared whether he bumped into a wall or not.

  "So you do care," he teased.

  "W-Well... Of course idiot, you're my friend, right?" she turned her head away, but he could see that blush dusted her cheeks.

  He was taken aback by her response though! She admitted that she cared! Well... While calling him an idiot, but still!

  "I didn't realize you cared so much..." he felt himself blush slightly and look away.

  "Don't let it get to your head Kaminari," Kyoka started dragging him back on course so they didn't fall behind.

  'She didn't call me an idiot..?'

  "You didn't call me an idiot this time," he grinned at her.

  "What else would you want me to call you by? Your first name?" she looked away from him again.

  'I do call her by her first name...'

  "Sure," he nodded his head, blushing a little more, "It wouldn't be the first time!"

  "I was only using that as an example! And before I only did that so that you wouldn't try to tag me and so you would shut up," Kyoka huffed.

  He shrugged.

  "I noticed something..." Kyoka started slowly, "You didn't ask me out today, did you finally give up?"

  He shook his head.

  "I'll never give up, I'm just trying to time it perfectly this time," Kaminari smiled at her again, but she turned her head away again.

  There was some silence for a minute, and his smile faded a little.

  "Why don't you give up?" she wondered aloud.

  "Hmm?" Kaminari tilted his head to the side a little.

  "Why don't you just stop asking me out and move onto another girl?" she rephrased what she said.

  "I'll keep that a secret until a little later," he promised, "then I'll tell you."

  "For how long though?" she looked directly into his eyes.

  'Not too long, Kyoka.'

  "I've never heard you question me so much, it's usually the other way around," he teased her again to avoid the topic.

  That was when she punched him and walked ahead to talk to Tsu and Momo.
