Chapter 15 | Sero Tried to Bet on Jiro

Jiro's Pov.

  She heard her alarm got off, so she sat up and stretched.

  'It's a new day...'

  All Jiro could think about was yesterday though...

  By the time she and Mina had gotten back to the table, Kaminari and Sero were glaring at each other, probably reading each other's faces.

  "We're back, stop fighting!" Mina had put a hand on each of their shoulders. 

  They had been really excited to see her.

  She shook her head around.

  'I just need to focus on today...'

  Jiro took a breath and got out of bed.

  After doing her morning routine, she walked down to the common room.

  "So I never got to ask with all the craziness," Sero walked up to her, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

  Jiro was a little taken aback, but she cleared her throat, "I need more time."

  Sero looked a little disappointed, but nodded.

  'To be honest... I don't really want to date him... but I don't want to be rude... When I find the right words I'll tell him..."

  Jiro opened the pantry and saw a box of granola bars. After taking one out of the box she unwrapped it and ate it.

  "Hi Kyoka," she heard the voice of that idiot...

  Jiro spun around.

  "So we're back to this?" she sighed.

  "I wasn't going to stoop that low while you were on a date with another guy!" Kaminari argued.

  "You make a fair point," Jiro closed the pantry door, "Except for one thing."

  "What?" Kaminari looked a little confused.

  "What if I was dating Sero?" Jiro asked. She wasn't actually, but she did want to know his response.

  "I guess I'd cross that road if you were Kyoka," Kaminari winked at her.

  "How do you know that I'm not?" Jiro wondered aloud.

  "You're body language. I can tell you're lying," Kaminari explained.

  'He and Mina are so similar it scares me...'

  "Yeah, you're right," she admitted.

  "Do you want to go on a date with me sometime Kyoka?" Kaminari questioned.

  Jiro felt the granola bar fall out of her hand and she crouched down to pick it up so that Kaminari didn't see her blush.

  "No you idiot!" Jiro shouted and turned around so that he still didn't see her red face.

  "Then maybe another time," Kaminari sighed, "What about my singing?"

  "I-It's horrible!" Jiro crossed her arms.

  Kaminari just laughed.

  "You can stop lying Kyoka," he put his hand on her shoulders.

  She could feel her face turn redder.

  "Stop calling me by my first name!" Jiro protested, and then she elbowed him, "And stop touching me..."

  "Is he bothering you?" Sero walked over.
