Chapter 24 | Is Mineta Dead Yet?

Jiro's Pov.

  They were finally all settled in the hot spring, no boy in sight, only relaxing...

  She sighed. This whole situation was stressful! The school just left them there!

  She plugged her earphone jack into the ground to make sure no one was trying to sneak up on them. Mainly Kaminari and Mineta, but no one was there thankfully.

  Jiro continued to keep it there, just in case...

  The others were talking, but she didn't listen or talk to them.

  Soon, she heard voices but didn't know if it was from far away, or up close, so she closed her eyes to look into it.

  It was... Kaminari... Ojiro... Todoroki... and Tokoyami.

  'Are they looking for us..?'

  But then they were talking to Midoriya!

  "Hurry! Get dressed!" Mina whisper yelled.

  They immediately got out and got dressed.

  "But they'll be able to see through our clothes!" Momo put a hand over her mouth.

  "You chose the wear a white shirt!" Mina argued quietly.

  The water soaked through Momo's shirt, and yes, you could see through it...

  Jiro was dressed quickly.

  The rest of them were ready pretty quickly too.

  That was when they ran to where they were talking.

  Jiro stood in front of Momo, so did the rest of the girls.

  'We're soaking wet... they're obviously going to question us...'

  The all just looked away from them. Probably because you could see through their shirts. Especially Momo's.

  Midoriya wasn't looking at their shirts, just Uraraka's eyes, so they were okay. He probably didn't realize. But maybe that was for the best.

  Ojiro walked over to Toru and asked where she went, Todoroki asked if Momo needed to sit near the fire, Tokoyami suggested that he and Tsu should get back to the campsite.

  She looked at Kaminari, she was kinda hoping that he would say something to her... but...

  "I mean..." he didn't really know what to say...

  "Nothing to say to me?" Jiro sighed, "Let's just go already, you idiot."

  She grabbed him and they started walking back to the campsite together.

  "Can I sing you a song?" Kaminari asked, "Shoot... I don't have the ukulele with me..."

  "That's okay," Jiro sighed again, "Let's just talk."

  "About what?" he wondered aloud.

  "Have you and Sero been arguing about who knows what?" she questioned.

  "About that..." Kaminari looked like he didn't want to tell her.

  "What?" she prodded his shoulder.

  "He tried to bet on you a little while ago..." he admitted.

  "What!?" she exclaimed, "Why didn't you tell me sooner!?" 

  "I guess I forgot..." Kaminari rubbed the back of his head.

  "Forgot!? Forgot!? That's something important!" she shouted.
