Chapter 39 | Pancakes

Kaminari's Pov.

  He ran down the stairs to the common room.

  Near the stairwell, Todoroki and Ojiro were already standing there. 

  "How come I was last?" Kaminari questioned.

  'I was the one that wanted the pancakes the most, right..?'

  "I don't know," Todoroki barely glanced at him.

  Midoriya walked over to them.

  "Any news about Tsu's pancakes?" Ojiro questioned him.

  "Uraraka's asking," he informed them.

  Uraraka skipped over to them.

  "Tsu said that she could make some," Uraraka let them know.

  "Yes!" Kaminari cheered.

  "I'm glad that she could spare some time," Ojiro said.

  Todoroki just nodded.

  "How'd truth or dare go?" Midoriya asked.

  Kaminari froze.

  'Didn't he hear from us what happened!?'

  "Er... it was very strange," Uraraka brushed off the question, "But anyway, how's your snow cone maker?"

  "We ate ice today..." Kaminari rubbed the back of his head.

  "Right... I could tell because of the cups that were left out on the table," Uraraka pointed to them.

  'I forgot to throw my cup out...'

  "I guess I forgot to throw those away..." Todoroki commented.

  'Speaking of dares...'

  "Oh yeah! So who's is this?" Kaminari asked, pulling out the sparkly yellow hair clip out of his back pocket, "I wanted to return it."

  Uraraka had a sly grin. Kaminari didn't think that she could manage something like that, but here they were. It was a face that Ashido made all the time, and probably Toru too, but he couldn't tell because she was invisible.

  "Then go return it to Jiro right now," Uraraka told him.

  'Kyoka!?'

  Kaminari was taken aback.

   "Wait, what!?" Kaminari exclaimed.

  "I'm not joking," Uraraka told him, "That's hers."

  "That's going to be one awkward conversation..." Kaminari mumbled to himself.

  'How did that dare even happen..?'

  "Yeah it is, now she probably wants it back, so you should go give it to her," Uraraka suggested.

  "I don't know..." Kaminari replied, rubbing the back of his head, "I could probably wait until later..."

  He felt the slightest bit of blush creep across his face, but he tried to suppress it.

  'I had something that was Kyoka's for this long? I feel kinda bad... I'll give it back later...'

  IzuOcha started whispering to each other.

  "What are you guys whispering about?" Ashido came out of nowhere.

  "Agh!" everyone but Todoroki and Ojiro yelped. (And Ashido wasn't scared, she was the one who appeared out of no where!)
