Chapter 53 | More Talking About Nightmares Again

Jiro's Pov.

  "I'll tell you guys..." Momo sighed, leaning back against the wall.

  "About your nightmare, ribbit?" Tsu wondered aloud.

  "Y-Yeah..." she looked away from them.

  "I was in the courtyard," she started, "The flowers there were really nice at the time. I was smelling them, and that was when Todoroki got my attention. I..." she took a deep breath, "I started running because I knew he was the villain but then he grabbed my arm. He told me that he needed to step up his game if he wanted to actually kill me and then flung me into a pit that I didn't know was there... It was full of sharp spikes that would've killed me if Todoroki didn't catch me. That was when he pulled me up and started fighting the villain version of myself."  

  "Wow, you were way more calm than me describing any of my dreams," Ochaco noted.

  "Maybe that's because I was sort of expecting it," Momo looked back at them, "But... One of the spikes did scratch the side of my leg..."

  She turned her leg to the side to reveal a long cut that went from the middle of the side of her calf to the middle of her thigh.

  "Why didn't you see Recovery Girl?" Toru gasped, looking at the scratch.

  "Because it wasn't that big of a deal to go to her, she has bigger problems to worry about," Momo reasoned.

  There was a pause for a second or two.

  "That's it I'm taking you to Recovery Girl," Todoroki walked from behind the wall and scooped up Momo, holding her bridal style before walking away with her.

  A moment passed before she started talking.

  "Uh... What just happened?" Jiro asked, watching Todoroki walk away with her friend in his arms.

  "My ships are working out as I planned, that's what's happening!" Mina cheered.

  "What now, ribbit?" Tsu questioned.

  There was a moment of silence.

  "Why don't you tell us about your nightmare Kyoka?" Ochaco suggested.

  "Well... I was sitting at a bench in front of a lake. It was night. Kaminari was sitting next to bme for some reason and I didn't realize that he was probably the villain. I think after a while I tried to leave or something, but he grabbed my wrist and flung me in the water. It burned really bad and I woke up, " Jiro told them, trying to sound as calm as possible to put her friends at ease, but her heart was really beating as if she ran a marathon...

  All of them nodded.

  "I'll be right back," Toru stood up and left.

  "Er..." Mina glanced toward Ochaco, "We never heard all of your nightmares, did we?"

  "No..." Ochaco sighed, "But I'm not as scared of them as I used to be."

  "Why is that, ribbit?" Tsu wondered aloud.

  "Because now I have Deku," Uraraka smiled at them.

  "But you're still going to tell us your nightmare," Mina didn't let her change the topic.

  "Okay..." Ochaco sighed.

Kaminari's Pov.

  Midoriya, Ojiro, Tokoyami, and him were talking.

  "Do you think they'll be okay?" Midoriya glanced at the girls. They were talking. 

  "Like you said, they're not inexperienced little kids. I trust that Tsu and the others will pull through," Tokoyami told them.

  "Yeah... but I'm still scared..." Midoriya sighed.

  "We all are," Kaminari did a horrible job at trying to reassure him.

  "We're doing training in the mornings, and on top of that, we're going to get classes," Ojiro tried, but it looked like he was still unsure. Alomst like he was trying to get it straight in his head.

  "My question is who is trying to murder them through their dreams, why, and how can we stop them. Well... That was more than one question, but you get the idea," Kaminari said.

  "Yeah," they nodded their heads.

  That was when Midoriya looked really confused and his gaze followed something behind them.

  "Er... Are Todoroki and Yaoyorozu a thing?" he asked them, confused.

  Kaminari followed his gaze to see... Todoroki carrying Momo bridal style out the door..?

  "Okay then," Midoriya turned back to them, "Well, tonight I'm going to ask if I can share a dream with Ochaco, and if she says yes, then you guys need to stay awake and then I'm going to try and answer some of these questions before Hagakure or Tsu have nightmares."

  "So you're going to ask if you can sleep next to her," Kaminari nodded his head.

  "I-I didn't mean it that way!" Midoriya's face turned red, "But... I guess that's the only way to share a dream with her..."

  A moment of silence passed.

  "I'm going to take a walk... I need to think..." Ojiro sighed, and then walked out the Common Room doors.

  About a second or two later, they saw Hagakure walk out of the Common Room too.

  "Is Hagakure following Ojiro?" Kaminari wondered aloud.

  "It looks that way," Tokoyami replied.

  "Well, I need to get going too," Kaminari left them.

  He walked through the Common Room doors and walked to the cherry blossom tree.

  'Kyoka should get here soon... right..? But I never told her a specific time...'

  Kaminari sighed. He really messed this one up. But he still waited there. What if she did still come to the cherry blossom tree?

  He sat there and waited. He waited some more. Waiting was boring... Would she ever show up or would he have to wait more? Waiting is boring! 

  Kaminari checked the time.

  'I've only been waiting half an hour...'

  But at the same time... That was also a long time.

  He stood up and walked back to the Common Room.

  'It's really close to eight isn't it?'

  He check the time again.

  Yeah, it was actually eight at the moment.

  "Where's the nightmare squad?" he questioned Todoroki when he walked inside.

  "They're all getting read to sleep," Todoroki told him, "I advise you do the same."

  'Right... I have to get back to the Common Room before nine...'

  That was when he walked up to his dorm.
