Chapter 19 | Mineta! You're so Annoying!

Kaminari's Pov.

  Everything felt like it was still speeding along... He didn't get to see much of Kyoka and it kinda made him sad...

  Right now, they were eating mulberries. Uraraka and Midoriya had picked them.

  "Where did Deku go?" Uraraka questioned for them all to hear. SHe was pointing at... the spot where a basket of mulberries was.

  "No!" he fell to his knees dramatically, "That was the last basket!"

  "We just need to find him," Kyoka reassured him. She didn't usually reassure anyone... it was kinda surprising.

  Kaminari got back on his feet.

  He started looking over by the tents. He wasn't hiding behind or in them...

  Soon he heard Uraraka shout "Gotcha!" and leap into the bushes.

  She came back out with the basket of mulberries, but also a Midoriya trailing behind her.

  'He probably ate all of them...'

  Kaminari didn't even attempt to be angry at him. He knew that it would just melt away because of his Cinnamon Roll nature...

  He just sighed, turning back to the basket of mulberries. Wait... none of them were actually missing, so what was the purpose behind taking them?

  After everyone left him alone, Kaminari noticed that Midoriya was scribbling away in that torn up notebook of his.

  'So he was gathering notes...'

  Kaminari didn't want to stay where he was, so he just took a small handful of mulberries and went to sit under a tree.

  'Could i get Yaoyorozu to create a ukuelele for me? I could sing for Kyoka again. I think it's nice that we share a common interest. I guess I'm just lucky that I learned to play the ukuelele before the guitar...'

  He just sighed.

  'Am I trying too hard to get her to notice me? Maybe...'

  Almost magically, she was walking over to him.

  "Hi Kyoka, I was just thinking about you," Kaminari told her.

  "There goes a normal conversation," she sighed, but still sat next to him.

  "I need to ask," Kaminari started, "You've said before it was horrible, but are you sure my singing is really that bad?"

  "Well..." she looked away from him, "I was lying... your voice is okay... okay, maybe it's good... Fine! Maybe it's really good and I do like to hear you sing!"

  "That's nice to hear from you Kyoka," he told her.

  "Maybe we should sing for Mina like you suggested on the bus," she suggested.

  "Sure, what about the whole class?" Kaminari went a step higher.

  "What about we stick to just stick to Mina, Toru, Momo and Tsu?" Kyoka compromised.

  "Okay," he nodded his head, "What about Uraraka?"

  "She's probably busy talking with Midoriya," they both got up and walked towards the group of girls, besides Uraraka because she was talking to Midoriya as Jiro predicted.

  "Mina, you wanted us to sing for you?" she spoke.

  "Yeah! Can they come along too?" Ashido gestured to the other girls.
