Chapter 38 | The Result of the Girls Playing Truth or Dare

Kaminari's Pov.

  Kaminari's woke up. Before his alarm for once.

  He checked the time.

  Way before his alarm for once...

  His eyes drooped, and he yawned.

  Stretching, he trudged out bed.

  'I'll go splash some water on my face...'

  He walked over to his bathroom and splashed some water on his face. 

  Kaminari didn't feel any different though, he was still pretty tired...

  'It's probably from waking up in the middle of the night...'

  He sighed, but also smiled a little.

  'It's a new day. A new day that I can try to spend with Kyoka.'

  Kaminari still trudged down the steps to the common room. His eyes were still droopy. He still felt the need to crawl back to bed... but he knew that he wouldn't be able to fall back asleep...

  Tokoyami and Ojiro were already down there.

  "Hey," he sat down next to Ojiro and then rested his head on his arms.

  "What happened to you?" Ojiro questioned.

  "I got a strange knock on my door and then found a hair clip. Also, Mineta was trapped in a net so Midoriya and I had to get him down..." Kaminari sighed.

  "You too?" Ojiro wondered aloud.

  Kaminari put his head up to look at Ojiro. He actually looked pretty tired too.

  "I got a knock on my door... Toru tried to scare me... Um..." Ojiro looked like he didn't want to say something.

  "What?" Kaminari prodded.

  "She wasn't wearing anything..." Ojiro blushed a little.

  "So then it was definitely the girls..." Kaminari spoke slowly.

  "Yup..." Ojiro nodded his head.

  "Do you guys want snow cones?" Todoroki asked, out of nowhere. 

  "Yes," Ojiro replied, "Thanks."

  "Yeah," Kaminari responded, "Did you get a knock on your door from the girls too?"

  Todoroki looked slightly surprised. That was when he sat down with them.

  "How did you know?" he questioned quietly.

  "Really? You too?" Ojiro sighed.

  "What happened to you?" Kaminari wondered aloud.

  "Yaoyorozu knocked on my door, created a snow cone, and gave me note saying that this was a dare, but she wanted me to have this snow cone maker. It also said that she had a book she needed me to burn later," Todoroki admitted, "What about you?"

  They told him what happened to them.

  "The girls were playing truth or dare," Kaminari finished.

  "Great..." Todoroki got up, "I'll go make snow cones now."

  A few minutes later, Midoriya walked down to the common room.

  "Er... Kaminari, Ojiro, Todoroki, Tokoyami? What are you doing down here?" he asked, walking up to them.

  "None of us could get back to sleep..." Kaminari grumbled, "Well... Tokoyami's an early bird, but the rest of us couldn't get back to sleep..."

  "I was already awake. I just decided to come down here. Do you want a snow cone Midoriya?" Todoroki asked.

  "Sure... Why not?" Deku shrugged, "but anyway, I know why you're awake Kaminari, but what happened to you guys?"

  Ojiro explained the situation to him.

  Todoroki handed everyone a snow cone and kept one for himself.

  "Do you have the flavoring syrup?" Kaminari asked.

  "No, but there's actual syrup in the refrigerator if you want it," Todoroki told him.'

  "I'll just eat the ice then..." Kaminari took his spoon and ate a spoonful, "Very... refreshing..."

Jiro's Pov.

  There were a few cups on the table that were filled with ice. To be precise: snow cone ice, though it didn't look like it had any flavoring in it.

  Momo was blushing.

  "I know what this is about," Jiro said just loud enough for them to hear.

  "W-What do you mean?" Momo's face turned pink.

  "You saw that over by the table there were snow cones, and knew that Todoroki must've used his snow cone machine to make them," Jiro felt a slight smile grow on her face.

  Before they were talking about something different, so Momo said, "We're really getting off topic now, aren't w-," but then was cut off.

  "Aww! That's so cute! I didn't even realize it before!" Ochaco commented.

  "Maybe you'll be the next ship on our list," Mina teased Momo, making her blush even more.

  "I ship it, ribbit," Tsu told her.

  "Or maybe a certain frog and crow," Mina went on. Tsu's cheeks had a light pink blush.

  Jiro snorted.

  "Possibly even the tomboy and walking charger," Mina glanced over to Jiro and then Jiro stopped laughing.

  'She did not just- And did she just call him a walking charger? Actually... that's pretty accurate... he's been charging phones... But still!'

   Just because there's the slightest possible chance that she might like Kamainari a little bit didn't mean that Mina had to ship it!

  "Yeah! I'm excited for our next project!" Toru probably smiled.

  "Oh come on! You might even be the next project!" Mina giggled as Toru pushed her pointers together.

  "Maybe you should stop teasing everyone and we could go focus on something else," Ochaco suggested.

  "Fine..." Mina sighed.

  They started talking, but then everyone started pouring into the common room, so they started whispering. Then Tsu started making pancakes and Tokoyami started talking to her.

  Kaminari, Midoriya, Ojiro and Todoroki walking into the common room. They were all sweating and panting, but Midoriya looked the least fazed. Kaminari however looked like he was abut to collapse on the spot.

  Well... never mind... they talked for a minute and then Kaminari sprinted away. The rest of them headed in the same direction. What were they doing before this..?

  Tsu gave her some pancakes.

  "Thanks," she thanked her friend.

  Midoriya walked over to them a few minutes later.

  "Is Tsu still making pancakes?" he asked.

  "Yeah, why?" Uraraka got another piece of pancake on her fork before putting it in her mouth.

  "Well... you see..." Midoriya started, "Ojiro, Todoroki, Kaminari and me wanted some... Mainly Kaminari..."

  'It all makes sense now.'

  Midoriya rubbed the back of his head.

  "I'll go ask if Tsu can make some more," Uraraka smiled and then got up to ask.

  Todoroki walked into the common room, and then a little bit later, Ojiro, and then Kaminari ran into the room.
