Chapter 26 | Ukulele Lessons, Fast Rest of the Week, Car Crash!

Jiro's Pov.

  She woke up and got out of her tent.

  'Okay... Seriously... Are they together yet?'

   She was looking at IzuOcha. For some reason, they didn't sleep in their tent and were instead leaning on each other while sitting on one of the benches.

  'The fact that they didn't confess yet makes this really sad...'

  She sighed before going to fish.

  Kaminari was talking to Momo.

  'Probably trying to ask her out...'

  Jiro pulled her gaze away from it. For some reason... she just couldn't completely bear looking at it. If she looked at it a second longer... she might've marched over there herself...

  After a minute, she felt a hand on her shoulder.

  Jiro looked up to see Kaminari's face.

  "What is it?" she wondered aloud.

  "I have a surprise for you today!" he seemed really excited.

  "Is it a song?" Jiro asked.

  "Kind of, but not really," Kaminari told her.

  "Hm... okay," she nodded her head.

  'I'm kinda curious now...'

  "Oh yeah!" he looked like he remembered something, "I'm going to join your group fishing.

  "You'll just kill all the animals in the river if you use your electricity, ribbit," Tsu put out there.

  "That doesn't mean I can't help you," Kaminari argued.

  Tsu just sighed before Jiro told her where more fish would be.

  Shoji handed him a fishing pole and he went to fishing too.

  That work went pretty fast. Soon it was closer to night. The sun wasn't exactly setting, but it was closer.

  "What's that surprise you were talking about earlier?"'Jiro walked over to Kaminari.

  "It should be ready in a few minutes!" Kaminari reassured her, "I'll go check on it and be right back."

  He ran out of the area, but soon came back.

  "Okay, okay!" Kaminari grabbed her hand and pulled her there.

  It was a little ways into the undergrowth

  She felt hands cover her eyes.

  "Almost there!" he promised, guiding her from behind.

  Soon, he uncovered her eyes.

  It was... a little stage. There were even a few instruments up there!

  Jiro walked over to it.

  'He... did all this for me? Well, or at least made a trade to this for me...'

  She ran her fingers over the guitar.

  "I had to talk to Yaoyorozu to make the instruments and Sato to make the little stage. I have to charge their phones for the whole year now..." Kaminari admitted, "What do you think?"

  She loved it a lot!

  It reminded her of home and her dorm!

  Jiro hugged him.
