Chapter 42 | Information about Uraraka's Nightmares

Jiro's Pov.

  She blushed.

  'It's coming for my dreams!? Like Ochaco? That really does mean I have a crush on-'

  Jiro glanced over to Kaminari and turned redder.

  'No, no, no... This isn't right!'

  "What do you mean except me?" Mina asked.

   "You don't have a cr-" Ochaco looked like she stopped herself.

   'She was going to say "crush"... wasn't she..?'

  "You didn't crash, like take a hit to the head!" Ochaco lied.

  "Yeah, yeah," all the girls besides Mina put their hands over their faces.

   "Oh, I get it," Mina smirked and nodded.

   "What does that have to with the villain creature?" Ojiro asked, looking confused.

   "I took a hit to the head, remember?" Ochaco was making things up now.

   "Stop lying," Kaminari sighed, "Tell us the truth."

  'I should've known... he knows that she was lying... Well... he also knows for sure I didn't take a hit to the head lately...'

  "W-What I'm not-" Uraraka stopped herself again, "Fine, I was lying."

   "Then what's the real reason?" Tokoyami asked.

   "It'll all be revealed to you in due time," Mina put her arms around her and the rest of the girls besides Ochaco.

  Jiro's face was on fire! She was shocked at how much she was blushing... she was usually so good at hiding it...

  "Er... Okay," Ojiro didn't prod any further.

  "Anyway, he can actually harm you, so-" Ochaco was going to say something different.

  She pointed away from the group.

  "You know what? I'm going to explain this to the girls alone for a few minutes, so just wait here for a moment," Ochaco started backing up to where she was pointing.

  The rest of the girls and Midoriya went back to the spot.

  "Like I was saying before, if you see your crush in your dream, run away as fast as you can," Ochaco told them, "The first few dreams will only be insulting you and probably falling into something, but it won't hurt you. After that you have to avoid them at all costs."

   "Okay," Toru nodded.

   "He gets one attempt to kill you every twenty four hours too, remember that," Uraraka informed them.

   "Okay, I will, ribbit," Tsu agreed.

   "I never asked... when did your nightmares start?" Momo asked her.

   "T-They started at..." Ochaco couldn't say it at first, "They started at your sleepover..."

   "I shouldn't have done a sleepover... This is all my fault..." Momo put her head down.

   "No it isn't! If you didn't have that sleepover, Deku would've never saved me!" Ochaco argued.

   "Really?" she looked a little confused.

   "He woke me up," she explained.

   Midoriya rubbed the back of his head.

   "We never tested this out, but if you fall asleep, can anyone else besides that person wake you up?" Momo asked.
