Chapter 71 | OjiToru's Confession

Kaminari's Pov.

  Today was the best day ever! Well... Maybe the second best day ever! The best day ever was when she said "yes" to going on a date with him.

  But still, there was a bunch of himself popping party poppers, setting off fireworks indoors, blasting music and eating one hundred cakes. There was a banner that said "We kissed!" and some of himself were dancing, and a few were crying tears of joy again.

  "Stupid Mina and her perfectly timed cherry blossom petals..." Kyoka ranted.

  "Come on, it wasn't that bad, was it?" Kaminari grinned at her.

  Kyoka's face turned the color of Kirishima's hair and she crossed her arms.

  She didn't answer him, but she was really adorable when she was flustered!

  He chuckled and tried to hold her hand, but she avoided it.

  "Don't get overconfident now because of that stunt you pulled, idiot," Kyoka looked away from him.

  He could tell she was embarrassed that he kissed her, but he couldn't be any less happy, so she had to live with it.

  "But you liked it, right?" he teased.

  She punched him in the gut.

  "Idiot..." she muttered.

  "You're still going to call me that Kyoka?" he questioned, "I'd rather you call me by my first name."

  "Idiot..." she glared at him.

  "I can't tell if you made up or came to us to sort out your problem," Midoriya rubbed the back of his head when Green Tea walked up to them.

  "Don't worry," Kaminari put an arm around Kyoka, "We're all good now."

  Kyoka glared at him but didn't make any moves to go away.

  "Let's go back to-" Kaminari spun around to look at their picnic.

  Hagakure was standing there with Ojiro. She was holding out her phone, probably live streaming.

  "Looks like we'll have to stay here a bit longer," Uraraka commented.

  "Why?" Kaminari asked.

  "Because she's probably confessing idiot!" Kyoka snapped.

  "Oh..." Kaminari nodded his head, "That makes sense."

  "Do you think they know that Ashido's in the tree?" Midoriya pondered aloud.

  "Wait... You knew she was in the tree?" Kaminari asked.

  "Yeah, when Uraraka made us float we saw her," Midoriya explained, "She said that she would murder me if I told anyone that didn't know she was there..."

  "Anyway," Uraraka started, "All the couples are almost together, isn't that exciting?"

  "We're not together," Kyoka crossed her arms.

  He felt really disappointed... 

  "Really?" Uraraka looked confused, "If you say so."

  "Well, then it's just you and Burn-Freeze Peaches," Midoriya pointed at the cherry blossom tree. Hagakure was running away, "I think she just confessed. I'm guessing Ojiro didn't say anything though."

  "Hey guys!" Hagakure stopped to talk to them.

  "I'm so happy you finally confessed!" Uraraka beamed at her.
