Chapter 33 | Surprise Party!

Jiro's Pov.

  She walked out of her lake house door.

  'I can't believe I agreed to this...'

  Jiro walked up to the idiot that she was going on a hike with.

  'This isn't going to be that bad... right? Yes: I might accidentally waste my day on this. No: I had nothing else planned anyway. Yes: I probably could've found better things to do... No: But what if I didn't? Then I would just be bored. No: I might actually enjoy this... No! I probably won't!'

  She shook her head around to clear her thoughts.

  "Ready to go?" Kaminari asked.

  "Yeah," she nodded her head.

  "Great! Let's go!" he led her to a path.

  There was a board with all the trails they could take.

  "So which one do you want to take?" Kaminari asked her.

  "Maybe... that one?" Jiro pointed at a trail that was a three mile hike.

  "Sounds good," he smiled at her.

  They walked along the trail in a comfortable silence. It was kinda nice...

  That was when she got a text notification on her phone, and so did Kamianri..?

  It's Deku's Birthday today! Uraraka had texted, I was thinking about throwing a surprise party!

  "After this hike we should head back to the building where we're throwing the surprise party," Jiro told him.

  "Yeah," Kaminari agreed.

  They walked in a comfortable silence for a while again before going to the food building.

  "Jiro, you blow up balloons, Kaminari, you too!" Mina ordered them as soon as they stepped into the building, "We're already behind schedule because you're late! Get a move on!"

  Mina threw a bag of balloons at them and then ran off to tell other people something.

  "I'm not that good at blowing up balloons..." Jiro sighed.

  "Well, I guess we should both try our best then," Kaminari rubbed the back of his head, "I'm not that great at it either..."

   He opened the pack and then handed a balloon to Jiro.

  "I heard that if you stretch a balloon out, it's easier to blow up," Kaminari stretched the balloon out and started blowing it up.

  She did the same thing, but hers wouldn't blow up... 

  Kaminari was on his second balloon already...

  Jiro was still a little confused...

  "Here, try a different balloon," Kaminari handed her another one, and it blew up with ease. That was weird. She tied the balloon and moved on.

  Kaminari was inspecting the one that Jiro was trying to blow up before. That was when he tried to blow up the balloon himself.

  "Kaminari!" she snatched it back from him.

  "Sharing an indirect kiss by blowing up a balloon?" Mina seemed to appear out of nowhere.

  "Not at all! He was just being an idiot and-" she was cut off.

  "And then tried to blow up the balloon after you had your mouth on it," Mina looked kinda suspicious.

  "Er... That wasn't my intention!" Kaminari tried.
