Chapter 31 | Confused With Her Feelings

Kamianri's Pov.

  After a little while, everyone but IzuOcha was on the lower level of the boat, taking a break.

  "Should we come back out on the boat tomorrow?" Kaminari asked Kyoka.

  "Maybe," she nodded her head a little, but then turned to him and huffed, "I can't believe you did that earlier!"

  "What?" he was a little confused...

  "I thought we talked about calling me by my first name in front of the others!" Kyoka crossed her arms. She was cute when she was mad, but he didn't exactly want to make her mad.

  "Yeah... I forgot about that and then you punched me..." he rubbed the back of his head, "That was when I remembered what we talked about..."

  "I almost don't even care anymore..." she mumbled.

  "Care about what?" he asked.

  "I didn't say anything," she lied. Kyoka had a little blush across her face for some reason.

  "Well, okay..." Kaminari sighed, "How was today so far?"

  "It was-" she was cut off.

  "Hi guys," Sero interrupted, sitting on the other side of Kyoka.

  "Hey Sero," Kaminari greeted him, "You just interrupted Kyoka while she was speaking."

  "How do you think she feels when you call her "Kyoka"?" Sero made the conversation go from one to one hundred, "It's not like you're dating or anything."

  "Stop talking like I'm not here," she stopped them, "Kaminari, it doesn't really matter what I think about today, and Sero..."

  She blushed and attempted to look away from them both.

  'So he doesn't know that she lets me call her Kyoka... But her opinion matters to me... She was about to answer... but then he came along..."

  "What?" Sero questioned.

  "Never mind..." she trailed off.

  "What were you going to say?" Sero wondered aloud.

  "Er..." she looked at Kaminari for help.

  "Are you guys dating now or something!?" Sero looked kinda horrified.

  "Sadly, no," Kaminari sighed, "But we're still friends, so she's letting me call her by her first name."

  "Interesting, can I call you "Kyoka"?" Sero asked Kyoka.

  "No," she sounded cold.

  Kaminari looked at Sero in a way that meant "Hah, take that!".

  He just glared back.

  The three of them sat in an uncomfortable silence for a while.

  "Uraraka!" he heard Midoriya yell.

  They all started to run up the stairs, and heard Ashido and Hagakure yell, "Ochaco!"

  There were a few more shouts too.

  Uraraka was on her knees, motionless. Ashido, Hagakure, and Midoriya were crowded around her.

  "What happened to Ochaco?" Jiro asked, she sounded scared, her expression showed a sparkle of fear. This was probably the most worry she's shone in a long time!

  "I-I don't know!" Midoriya told them, "I just came over to talk to her and then a little bit into the conversation she stiffened and then fell onto her knees!"
