Chapter 49 | Some More Singing

Jiro's Pov.

  'I know what I want to do for my list...'

  She had been thinking about that a little bit. What Jiro really wanted to do was sing for her friends, well... The nightmare squad.

  Jiro had already told everyone and now they were outside. 

  She wanted to do this in a spot that no one else would hear. 

  "Who's going first?" Jiro asked. She didn't exactly want to go first... Even though this was her  idea.

  "Could I go first?" Ochaco questioned.

  Jiro nodded.

  Ochaco sang "Symphony". It was slightly faster and higher pitched though.

  "Have you been listening to nightcore?" Jiro wondered aloud when the song finished.

  "Yeah..." Uraraka pushed her pointers together.

  Jiro nodded.

  After that, everything started to move quicker. 

  Mina sang "Better When I'm Dancing", but that was kind of expected, right? She obviously wasn't going to sing a song about love, money, or being depressed.

  Toru sang a song that she didn't know. It was about love.

  Jiro started her song. It was "Don't Let me Down". She tried not to look at anyone's faces during her performance... She didn't exactly want to see everyone's reactions... What if her singing was actually horrible and... No... she shouldn't think like that... Jiro looked up to see Kaminari's face. He was smiling at her. Jiro felt the confidence to finish the songs

  Tsu didn't sing anything, but Jiro knew that it wasn't really her thing.

  Momo looked really afraid. She probably didn't want to sing... But she still nodded her head when Jiro asked her. She sang "Something just Like This", but it seemed like she really meant what she was singing even though she didn't write the song... Jiro didn't think that Momo noticed that Todoroki was smiling slightly at her singing though.

  Even Midoriya sang something! He sang "We are the Heroes". It kind of lifted her spirits a little! It made her feel like... maybe somehow... someway... they'd beat the villain... they probably weren't and it would haunt her for the rest of her life, but at least she could sing with some of her friends and their crushes.

  Kaminari sang a song that she didn't know. She wasn't exactly sure what it was at least, but the song was nice. It was a love song.

  Jiro blushed a little bit and turned her head away.

  Mina elbowed her a little, and she just scoffed.

  Kaminari ended his song in the middle, right after she scoffed. He looked sad... and she felt bad that happened... Mina was only teasing her, she didn't have to react the way she did.

Kaminari's Pov.

  He ended his song when he heard Kyoka scoff... He didn't realize that she hated the so much... Maybe it would've been better for him not to sing at all...

  Kyoka looked guilty, but he wasn't sure why. She gave her honest opinion hen she scoffed

  "Does anyone want to sing a second song?" she asked.

  No one responded.

  Kaminari really did like singing though. It was nice.

  "Any duets?"
