Kaminari's Pov.
Jiro had already arranged a time for the picnic. IzuOcha had made the food. He had just finished packing the blanket, food, and drinks and now it was time for the picnic!
He felt a smile painted on his face. Kaminari started humming the melody the "We Could Happen", almost jumping in the air.
Kyoka, Uraraka, and Midoriya were already at the door, and he couldn't help it when his grin widened.
'Kyoka did come!'
"Time for the picnic!" Uraraka pumped a fist in the air.
"I still can't believe this whole thing started because you both started getting excited..." Kyoka sighed, but there was a little smile on her face.
"I still can't believe you actually came!" he gave her a warm smile.
"Let's go already," Kyoka stole the food from him and they started their stroll to the cherry blossom tree.
"It's such a nice day," Midoriya commented. A soft breeze floated by them.
Kaminari gazed up at the sky. The sun was shining bright, so he put an arm up to block it. The skies were pretty clear except for a few cumulus clouds.
'Will Kyoka start to date me after today, or is that just a fantasy? Either way, she went on a date with me once and still wanted to come on a second.'
"Yeah, it really is," he smiled again.
A few birds flew above them, chirping merry songs.
Soon, they were by the foot of the cherry blossom tree.
Kyoka took the picnic blanket out of the basket and tossed it to him when he put his hand up. After unfolding it a little bit, he handed one end to Midoriya, and then they held the ends while the blanket flapped up in the air while they placed it on the grass.
Part of the blanket was in the shade while most of it was in the sun.
Uraraka unloaded all the food and placed it on the blanket.
Some of the cherry blossom petals rained down from the tree. Uraraka giggled, removing some from her boyfriend's hair.
Kaminari glanced at Kyoka hopefully, but she just crossed her arms.
He sighed. What was it going to take for her to say "I like you Kaminari"?
Kaminari reached over and brushed a petal off the top of her head.
She slapped his hand away when he did though...
"No," she snapped.
"You guys are so lucky..." he nodded to IzuOcha.
Midoriya wore a confused face, while Uraraka's visage was understanding.
"Idiot," Kyoka huffed.
"How was your guys's day today?" Kaminari questioned.
"Good."
"Okay."
"If I'm being honest, kind of depressing."
"Then let's not talk about our day today," Kaminari tried thinking about something else, "Er... I'm so glad that Uraraka and I came up with this picnic idea. What do you all think?"
"I don't this could be any more perfect!" Uraraka beamed at Midoriya, and he gave a sheepish smile back.
More petals rained down from the tree. Nothing could ruin the picnic.
Jiro's Pov.
'Stupid petals... Why do they have to be so perfectly timed!? I'm blushing enough as it is...'
Jiro was scared to admit that she was actually having a great time during the picnic (even though the awkward conversations Kaminari started. Did he know that it was okay to eat in silence?])... Kaminari would tease her for saying that she was happy to be there...
"Are you having a good time?" Kaminari turned to her, snapping her out of her trance.
"Of course idiot," she responded quickly.
That was when she realized that she had just said what she was trying to avoid saying...
'He's going to tease me a lot for this...'
"I'm glad! I was scared you were going to say you hated the double date," he rubbed the back of his head with a smile on his face.
'He didn't taunt me...'
Jiro took a sandwich and took a bite. It was good. Maybe it wasn't extrodinary, but it was ample.
More petals fell from the tree as Kaminari attempted to brush more of them from her hair.
'How come the petals are always so perfectly timed!? I hate it...'
This time, she didn't smack his hand away, but gave him a steely glare. It seemed that he didn't notice, so she just sighed in defeat.
The sun's rays were comforting and warm.
'Ugh! Why did I even compare it to Kamianri before!?'
She hugged her knees, hiding her face a little bit so that so one saw the blush.
The wind blew her hair to the right a little bit. It was a nice breeze and it cooled her burning face.
"Is everything okay?" Kaminari asked.
And guess what happened?
More freaking perfectly timed petals! WHat was wrong with the universe!?
The blew around Kaminari's face.
'I don't like it! If there was fanart about us, this would be the moment!'
She crossed her legs in criscross applesause and glanced around the scene.
If the artist did draw this, they would have to capture everyone's expressions: IzuOcha and their joyful smile, faces dusted with blush, and even hers and Kaminari's faces. Hers being annoyed, but really red and Kaminari's, who was grinning his mouth off. They would also have to make the perfectly timed cherry blossom petals flowing all around them. But there would be something missing... What was it though?
The thoughts made her feel calmer and distracter her.
"Kyoka! Try this sandwich!" Kaminari urged her, and then held a sandwich to her lips.
She glanced over to him to see if he was actually being serious about this.
He was grinning cheerfully at her, waiting for her to take a bite.
'Fine... Just this once...'
She wasn't going to ruin the moment after he looked so happy...
Jiro held in a sigh and took a bite of the sandwich. It was actually pretty good! Better than the one she was eating at least.
That was when he bit into the sandwich where she took a bite.

Author's Note: I was thinking about renaming the book, but I'm not sure anymore. What do you guys think? Maybe give me some title suggestions? If I find anything I like better than "Re-Sparked", then I'll go with it, but I'll ask what you guys think about that name first too.
