Karma's POV

I was at the start of the daily hike to the satellite campus for class today. Nothing too special had taken place thus far.

Though that quickly changed when I saw Nagisa and Kaede walking to school together. This wasn't abnormal either. Those two can seem inseparable at times, but there was one thing I was able to pick up on.

They were coming from North of the base. Nagisa lives South of school. He wasn't supposed to be coming from that direction.

"Now this is really something..." I say, fully knowing that my devil face is on display. More questions for the man of the hour it seems.

Because this isn't the first suspicious thing these two have contoured within the last 24 hours even. Something is up here, the only question is, should I call it out now as if it's nothing, or keep it to myself, to investigate further.

"Welp, if I stare too long it won't matter what I choose, Nagisa is a smart kid and he'd notice in an instant." I casually say, as I turn to walk up the mountain.

Nagisa's POV

Oh great, Karma is onto us once more, if word gets out that Kayano and I have been sleeping in the same living space multiple times now, there's no telling what havoc Karma and Nakamura could do.

This is probably the last time we'd do something like this anyway, so I shouldn't have much of an issue going forward, right?

Kayano's POV

Why is Nagisa looking so weirded out this morning, this is the second day in a row now.

OH SHOOT!!! Is it possible he heard what I said last night!? Is he creeped out that I'd feel for him this way!? What should I do!?

That's ok Kaede, just focus, Nagisa was asleep anyway, there isn't any reason he would have heard it. Time for school I guess...

Korosensei's POV

Today is going to be a great day! Of course, any day where I get to see my students is a great joy. The time that these kids have invested towards the school year, and in planning their futures is marvelous to look at.

I absolutely can't wait to see how their time in Class 3-E has shaped any of their big life decisions, or in what other directions they want to go onward with. Some of them were quite obvious, or mentioned during the career counseling sessions.

If Sugino believes and understands his potential to the sport, he will one day become an incredible baseball star. There's even a chance he could go to America to play professionally!

Okuda is a wonderful chemist. Her future is full of medical breakthroughs and scientific landmarks if she tries her hardest.

Karma made both a surprising and calculated call, becoming a bureaucrat. His love for control, and necessity to become the best at what he does will make a fine man out of him, I can't wait to see his grownup self!

Kaede— or rather, Akari, will likely go towards a career in acting. Based on how she's handled the great pain of her tentacles with such a beautiful smile, I can say with certainty that she will just soar!

I can't forget Nagisa, who has taken an interest in education. As a teacher myself, obviously there is nothing I could be more excited about. His ability to work with others in academics brings a tear to my eye, made all the better because he got his inspiration from me. I may be puffing my own ego, but I've known him for not even an entire school year, and it's been enough to give his life an entirely new direction!

Come to think of it, Nagisa and Kaede have become rather close, maybe the future has those two together?

"I would certainly like to see some of that" I say, turning into my pink self.

That boy Nagisa. He is a wonderful child, he makes a great assassin for this class, he also strikes me as the type of person to assume a leadership role. He can lead a cause for anyone to rally behind if he puts his mind to it. His want to become a teacher makes my heart absolutely melt.

He will also fight incredibly hard to preserve it. All you have to do is look at his fight against Karma. Taking on a much bigger opponent because he knew he needed the support of all his classmates.

But this is for a later time, right now, it's time for class.

"Gooooood morning students!"

Nagisa's POV

Korosensei was going through this day as any other school day. He taught us the subjects he usually does on Tuesdays. He went over material that individual students needed help with. He avoided our pointless assassination attempts on him.

I was still writing down everything he was saying, but I had difficulties with actually taking things in. My mind was constantly racing. My heart rate had to be above its normal amount.

All I could think about was the last thing that happened yesterday. Kayano kissed me before she headed off to bed. She probably doesn't know I was awake, but maybe her hesitation meant she did.

This is so overwhelming, and I hope Korosensei won't be able to tell I was having difficulties paying attention today, otherwise things could get embarrassing...

"Nagisa!" Korosensei said firmly.

"Huh...? Oh what is it?" I say, having no clue as to what is happening.

"It's your turn to read, please pick up where we've left off." Korosensei said impatiently. Apparently I've been out of things for a bit, I have no idea where we are.

"137, 2nd paragraph." Kayano whispered to me. "Thanks for the save!" I thought.

I had to flip 4 pages forward, yikes, I must've been daydreaming for a while now. Once the class had finished their snickering, I resumed the reading. Wow, this was as embarrassing as it could have gotten.

Korosensei's POV

Well, another good school day down, hopefully even more to come!

But, it can't last forever. Sooner it'll have to be me or the earth itself, and that's just a simple decision to make. But these kids need a teacher to finish the year, and I must fulfill my promise I made to Ms. Yukimura.

It feels like it's been years with these kids, but it was months ago that I even became the tentacle being I am today.

Well, it's about time I resume the progress on the custom yearbooks. Even with my speed it can take some time. The students may hate the idea of it now, but in their future, they will look back on these years as great times, with great people.

Then, a giant death ray from the sky nearly vaporized my very being...
