Nagisa's POV

Monday is typically my favorite day of the week. Seeing the students and hearing about their weekends was the most fun part of the week.

But I couldn't make it to class today. I was too emotionally destroyed to do really anything. I had a good substitute teacher come over to get the custom tests and give them to the students. This is the first time in my career I've missed this day.

All I could do is sit in bed and hate the universe. I didn't have motivation to do anything. I couldn't find the strength to move. My heart was too heavy to do anything.

I heard my phone ping from my night stand, but I wasn't too sure if I wanted to check it. I decided to go for it anyway, and it was an email from the school principal.

Hello faculty and staff,

If you are receiving this email, then your presence will not be required for the final 3 days of this school week. The school board was notified that official test company moderators wanted to survey how students felt after each test portion, so they will supervise certain classes. We apologize for the sudden notice, but your days off will count as paid days off.

Life is good!

Principal Teikoku

I always loved the ending to his emails. He was a very positive and great guy, who loved his job quite a lot. He reminded me of Korosensei in that aspect. But today just wasn't that kind of day for me. Life being good just didn't line up with how I ended last night.

Though the observations that the test moderators wanted to make really helped with my need to not do anything. I'll make sure I come into work tomorrow to help the students and wish them luck for their finals.

There is still another week of school after finals, mostly made for the graduation and moving up ceremonies. I'll be there for that week, I really like these kids and I want to be there to send them off. I just have to pray I'll be in a decent mental condition by then.

I think I'll just lie here until I die, that seems like the most painless thing I could do at this point...

Akari's POV

I woke up early this morning, because I was awake for so long, I had to do anything to try to take my mind off things.

I needed to spend more time with Nagisa, I can't leave Japan for months after falling in love with Nagisa. I had to try it, I'm going to message my producer for 2 more weeks in Japan.

Hey Sakura, I'd like to know if it's possible I could stay a few more weeks in Japan. Some personal things happened, and I know that the crew is setting up, so I won't be essential for the first bit of the film.

I stared at my phone for quite a while. I needed her to say yes, I wanted to be with Nagisa as long as I was allowed to. I saw the notification that she read my message and she started typing her response.

It should be fine to stay upwards of 2 weeks or so. I'd message the director you're doing this, we can shoot the parts that your character won't be present for in the meantime. I'll see you then, Ms. Yukimura.

Seeing this made me unbelievably relieved. I wanted to text Nagisa the good news, but he might be in school now, so I'll ask someone who works there when he will likely be available.

I dash to my computer to check in with the school. I write up an email for the staff to hopefully see shortly.

To whom this may concern,

Hello, my name is Akari Yukimura. I am writing to ask about a teacher's schedule. Do you know when Mr. Shiota will be available next? I would like to see him in person, if after school hours is the earliest it can be then that is fine with me.
