Nagisa's POV
It had been some time since Akari had left. Her filming parts are more than half way over now. She was having a bigger part now, but nothing massive to where she's gone for more than half the year. Plus part of the filming is in Japan, so the last month of the project will be back here.
I was never feeling my best, but I was more or less over the dread. Akari and I were talking almost daily anyway, the only difference is that we can't hold each other when we want to. Life was good and bad, but I was doing what I could to stay positive. I needed to, considering I've gone back to work now
School had restarted, and for the first time in 3 years I had a completely new group of students. This was an exciting time for me, even though it limited how often Akari and I would have our lunch and dinner dates. We were still able to share how our days went, and what's in store for the next. I'm happy Akari is so willing to stay awake later, just to wait until I get out of work.
Soon after Karma delivered the letter from Korosensei, I had my first talk with Akari since the move. I had taken some thought to figure out whether or not I should tell her about it. I decided against it, as it was a comfort letter for me specifically. It was something I didn't want to show off, in case Akari didn't have something like that at her own disposal. What I did tell her on our first online date with her was about the list of incoming students I got to teach.
An interesting thing about it was that Kano's younger sister was in the class. I guess her family requested me specifically to be her instructor, for how much Kano herself liked me. It made me happy to be thought of in that way.
Chika was also a tremendous student, just like Kano. I'm pretty sure she skipped a grade at some point. The rest of the kids were great. They had awesome personalities, and a willingness to learn. No real troublemakers, but I did have a couple kids that reminded me of Terasaka. Tough on the outside, but there was a soft spot and love for school somewhere in there. While I don't think anything could stand up to those last 3 years, what I had now looked to be another great class.
I looked at my clock to see that it was noon exactly. It was only a few minutes before I was going to call Akari to have our meals together. I already had everything ready, I just cleaned the kitchen a bit in the meantime. I was looking forward to this as if it were the first call I would make.
Akari's POV
It's a lovely Saturday night for me now, the view is terrific. I wish Nagisa were here to see it, but it's midday in Japan now, so the sun was directly above. It's a small thing we have to miss out on, but at least we are still able to talk about our days and plans for the next one.
I was brushing my hair as last minute preparation for Nagisa and I's date. The suite I was staying in had an excellent seafood restaurant a block away. I had gone there earlier to get a salmon dish for dinner. I heard my computer ringing from another room, meaning that it was time for dinner with Nagisa.
I sit down after putting the finishing touches on my looks and my dinner. Our cameras turn on, and I'm greeted with Nagisa's incredibly cute face. He still to this day looked a bit girly, less so from junior high, but there isn't much he can do to change that. I still make those kinds of jokes from time to time, and he really doesn't like them, but even his angry face just makes me want to hug him.
"Good evening Akari, how was your day today?" Nagisa excitedly asks.
"Actually really good! There weren't TOO many retakes we had to do, everyone performed quite well, and the director greatly appreciated it!"
Nagisa looked glad to hear this. My director was a great guy, and everyone working on the film loved him. Nagisa has heard all the praise I've given him, so even Nagisa likes him.
