Nagisa's POV
Akari and I entered the cabin we would be staying in. It wasn't too big, a good size for 2 people. A bit bigger than my apartment, the main difference being the deck outside and a bit bigger kitchen.
We went exploring in the new area a bit, the view from the bedroom was excellent. The bedroom also led to the master bathroom, a nice feature. The only issue is... that was also the only bedroom in the cabin.
Akari and I arrived at that conclusion at the same time. We looked at each other, then the room, then back at each other. It was dead silence before Akari bravely mentioned the situation we were in.
"Soooooo... I can sleep on the couch, right?" Akari said.
"You don't have to!" I said a bit too loud. "I'll go there, this is your first trip up here and I want you to have the best experience possible."
Akari looked down and smiled a little bit. She accepted my offer, and I moved my bags to the living room. I didn't want Akari to feel too weird so I think I made the right call. The last time I was here I was one of the guys that got to share the bed, so I don't mind going to the couch this time.
Then again, yesterday we were sleeping together for a bit. I mean, that was just the heat of the moment, right? Whatever, it's nearing dinner time and I wanted to make something.
As a part of packing we each got a couple groceries to make a meal, we didn't want to eat out EVERY night. We were both decent cooks too, so we would enjoy whatever we would make anyway. After Akari and I had set all of our things down, she made her way to the living room to talk dinner.
"I brought the materials to make some spaghetti and meatballs. I'm sure that the necessary pots and pans are here." I said walking to the kitchen.
"That sounds good to me, as long as you let me help a bit. I'd feel bad if you've done all the hard work today."
"All I've done so far is drive, we both did the packing and unpacking equally, you won't owe me anything."
"Yeah that's true, but might as well help where I can, it's better than just sitting around and doing nothing, right?"
I said that I'd do the cooking portion, if setting the table and helping make a salad side was good with her. She agreed and we got to work on our respective roles. After looking around for a bit to find out where everything we would need was we got started. We chatted about anything we really thought of throughout it, something we both enjoyed.
"So Akari, did you see any restaurants on the way here that peaked your interest?"
"Actually I did, there was a diner that said they had famous sandwiches. We could go out to lunch there sometime this weekend."
"I didn't go there when I last came here, going out there seems like a good idea."
Once we had finished making everything, we sat down and started eating. It turned out well considering that it didn't take very long. As we were wrapping things up Akari had a few questions for the both of us.
"Hey Nagisa," she said, finishing her bite, "do you think we've been moving things too fast?"
She asked this with surprising ease. Especially with how serious it was. Were we taking things too fast? We've known each other for a long time, but only really started talking in the last few weeks. Yet here we are, vacationing for an extended weekend together.
I had been thinking of the same thing for a bit as well. So although it was a complex question I still had an answer.
"With how long we've known each other, I don't think so. This is more something that we should have done long ago." I said, moving closer to her. I then kissed her in the cheek, "Even if things were going too fast, I love it completely, and wouldn't trade it for the world."
Akari kissed me back, "I love this too, Nagisa." She said.
We finished dinner, but just before we would start doing the dishes, I came up with what I saw as a great idea. I looked outside and the deck was already cleaned off, and the stars were very bright.
"Hey Akari, want to go out on the deck?" I say, pointing to the sliding glass door that led outside. Akari peeked over time to see what I was going on about. "The stars will look pretty good from here." I add.
Akari agreed, and we hustled outside to enjoy the cool weather and beautiful sky. We looked upwards, before making eye contact and smiling at each other. We looked up again before I asked a question I've thought about a lot lately.
"Hey Akari?"
"What is it Nagisa?"
"Can I call you my girlfriend now? I-I just think that it would be a good idea at this point in our relationship, right?" I say, stuttering to the end. Akari looked at me a little surprised, her eyes were a big big. She smiled, then went into a bit of a soft laugh.
"Only if I can call you my boyfriend!" Akari responded with a large smile.
We both laughed for a little bit before I moved my chair closer to hers. Our arm rests were nearly connected, and we could feel the warmth of the other. I leaned over Akari, with a hand on each of her cheeks, kissed her for maybe 5 seconds.
I sat back down, grabbed her hand, and resumed our stargazing. It had been about 15 minutes before we started to get a bit cold. We went in, teamed up on the dishes, and joined together on the couch to watch a movie.
This brought us back to when we were kids. That time I went over to Akari— or, Kayano's house, for a night. We played story time, had some of the best ramen of our lives, told each other why we would marry each other...
It was that last part that made me think... marry her. I looked over at Akari to see her resting her head on my shoulder. Would I one day marry Akari? I mean, it's a bit early for me to think about that, of course. I have to be more worried about what will happen to us while Akari has that acting project for a few months.
It made me sad to think about that, and now isn't the time for it. Now is for making the most out of my extended weekend, with Akari. We should make sure that we do everything that Camp Hinata has to offer.
The movie had ended, and we were both half asleep at this point. We both had showered before coming driving up here, so we decided to skip tonight. We both went to our respective rooms for the night, and with that the lights were out.
The couch was fairly comfortable, but Akari definitely had the good spot. I'm glad she did though, I want her to have the best possible time here. I'll just get some sleep, we've got some interesting things going on tomorrow.
I close my eyes for a few minutes before I hear footsteps coming from Akari's room. She comes out of her door and walks over to me. I turned on the lamp near me to see if she needed me.
"Hey Nagisa, I've got a quick thing to say, and you don't have to say yes to it..." Akari said, with very red cheeks.
"Yeah what is it?"
"Well since we're boyfriend and girlfriend now, and sharing the same living space, we might want to start acting like ones living together, right..?" Akari muttered.
"A-are you saying..."
Akari nodded, she wanted me to sleep in her room. In her bed. With her. My heart began pounding, and I'm sure hers was too.
"We don't have to Akari... you seem a bit uncomfortable saying this." I say, looking down and away from her.
"No... I insist." Akari says as she pulls herself closer to me. We kissed each other quite deeply, different from other times.
We kept kissing each other, as if we were stuck together. While we continued she jumped up into my arms. She was in a cross-legged position at my waist, one arm going behind my neck, and the other brushing her hair back a bit. We stayed like that for a little bit.
I began walking the two of us to her room. I laid Akari down on her bed, then got on top of her myself. We rolled around a bit, without stopping our love for even a second.
This lasted quite a while, things began to heat up a bit too. We had taken all but our underwear off, and we thought about going further. As I had my hand under the right side strap to her bra I decided to stop. We knew that we were at our comfort limits. We didn't end things there though. It wouldn't end for a while.
