Nagisa's POV

Our remaining time was spent going on walks and relaxing at home. Although we did check out an alpine slide nearby. Then it was time to drive home. We only had one week before Akari had to go. I was hoping she would have some ideas of what we should do, though I had work this week, which definitely limited things.

The drive back to Akari's house was a lot easier, because we could stay on asphalt roads the whole time, no more rough gravel rides. It took us almost 2 hours to get to her home, traffic was decent once again. I decided that I should help Akari with unpacking and transferring things back over to my car.

"Hey Nagisa..." Akari starts.

"What's up?"

"Well... I'm just very glad we went on the camping trip together, and I would really like to do something like that again when I return from America."

"Y-yeah... me too..." I say, turning my gaze away from her. I meant what I said, but it was hard mentally preparing for the months to come. We complete the unpacking process, and we hug each other goodbye.

Akari's POV

I close the door behind Nagisa, and stare out the window for a few moments. Thinking about leaving is making me quite sad for sure, but happy in some ways. The emotions I'll get upon my return will be terrific. Besides, this isn't goodbye FOREVER, just a couple months is all. I went 15 years without constant contact with Nagisa, I can do a quarter of a year for sure.

Although, I'll want to talk to Nagisa as often as possible, despite the time differences we will have. I can only wonder exactly how though, I mean my family and close friends never had to do long distance relationships, so who can I even ask for advice?

"Wait a minute, Mr. Karasuma!" I exclaim.

One of the final things Mr. Karasuma gave to us was simply his personal contact. It was his email that he used for personal things, so we felt happy to be included on such a prestigious list in our minds. I'll have to talk to him about what I should do to make the most of this situation.

Hello Mr. Karasuma and Mrs. Jelavić,

It's me, Kaede Kayano from Class 3-E. How's it going? I would love to talk at some point, catching up sounds like fun. I do have some interesting news I would like to share here though.

My next acting project will have me going from Japan to the United States for 3 months. My boyfriend and I are dreading the thought of being apart for so long, especially with our relationship speeding up. If you have any words of advice for me that would greatly help.

Much love,

Akari Yukimura

I hope that this will work sooner rather than later. If I get anything useful, I will share it with Nagisa as soon as possible.

Nagisa's POV

I drove home not super focused, before I started the car at Akari's house I just sat in the driver's seat for a few minutes. I looked at the passenger seat, remembering Akari sleeping there, and how I could hold her hand for hours. These memories will be something I will treasure forever, but they're killing me right now.

Tomorrow is a school day, so I was going to spend the rest of today preparing for it. First off I needed to email the class about finals.

Hello class,

Congratulations on completing your finals! I have full confidence that you all performed excellently. The results will be in by tomorrow, and I will announce the students that performed well. I've missed you all over the last few days, and I look forward to seeing your faces this Monday!
