Nagisa's POV

I woke up under the bed covers with Akari basically pressed up alongside me. My arms were around her, and neither of us had anything more than underwear on. Despite being awake I stayed where I was, I felt so comfortable and warm with her next to me. Even though she was asleep I still kissed her, but as I pulled away her hands grabbed my head and she pulled me back in to kiss once more.

"Heh heh, morning Nagisa." Akari said with a sly face on, as if she had just gotten away with something.

"Good morning Akari, how did you sleep?" I ask with a slightly smug face on myself.

"Oh, I got what I could." She replies, matching the face I had.

We got up at the same time, I got dressed with what I had on last night so that I could wait outside for Akari to get dressed for the day. I was thinking as to whether or not we should go out to breakfast. We haven't done so yet, but this trip was full of trying new things, so no reason not to.

Akari then walked out wearing her clothes for the day, comfortable clothes considering that there was a long drive home. She said it was my turn to get dressed, but before I did I asked her the question.

"Hey Akari, on the way home we will pass by a really good breakfast diner, do you want to go eat there this morning?"

"That sounds fun! It's been a long time since I've done something like that." She said, happy with my suggestion.

I went in the tent to get changed and start packing things up, we were only going to be on the mountain for one night. Akari helped with take down too, and just as she quickly built the tent, she took it back down with ease. That was very nice, I expected it to take a while, but once again I underestimated the power of Akari Yukimura.

Once everything was back in the car it was down the gravel path we went. It was a bit of a detour to go out this morning but it wouldn't be too far off the main road we would go back on.

We arrived just before 10 in the morning. We were both hungry and eager for what we would be served. We sat down and looked at the menus we were given. Too many options to choose from, they all sounded terrific. I was a bit eggs benedict person, but the pancakes looked very appealing.

"Whatcha looking at Nagisa?" Akari asked from across the table.

"I'm not sure what to get, they have so many good choices..."

"Well I have an idea, you narrow it down to two options. I don't care all that much what I have, because they do all look good. I'll get one thing and you'll get the other, and we can just share." Akari said, quite satisfied with her plan.

"That's a great idea Akari! Does eggs benedict and the pancakes sound all good?"

"Yes it does. See? Every now and then I can come up with a stroke of genius." Akari said, quite proud of herself for coming up with the game plan for once.

We ordered the things we wanted, and each got a cup of coffee to fully get us up. The place wasn't as packed as I remembered it in high school. Then again, it was a massive amount of people that came along. I can't imagine the chaos that the restaurant went through with 40 guests arriving at once.

But with a lack of people in right now, I'm sure that our food won't take too long to arrive. Sure enough I was right, a little less than 15 minutes later our breakfast had arrived. It was a lot bigger than we imagined. These were the pancakes that took up the majority of the plate, and we had 3 of them. Not to mention the eggs benedict that came along with it.

Akari and I looked at each other, and thought the same thing, "yeah, no way we finish this." We both ate what we could but lost the battle against it. The pancakes had about a third of it left, and we felt a bit bad that we weren't able to take it down.
