Nagisa's POV
The rest of the week went excellently. I was able to finish my custom exams to give next week and I was looking forward to it as well. The teachers at my school insist on the teachers giving practice exams before finals, to help the student going into the final test.
Typically teachers will just give an easier copy of the final, or make a test similarly structured. Although that's not what Korosensei would do. As he is my inspiration, neither shall I.
Korosensei forged tests specific to each student, though he could use his speed to do that each time, it took me an entire semester to fully grasp each student's strengths and weaknesses. I love my job and what it brings, so going the extra mile feels like a treat on its own.
I'm happy that I was able to complete these tests in the time that I did, I needed an open weekend for my second date with Akari.
I still get goosebumps saying the word 'date'. It's with Akari, someone I have nothing to be afraid of. But at the same time, it still feels a bit weird.
Last weekend we almost kissed. I've thought about that moment pretty much every night. I never chose to think about it, it always shows up when I close my eyes.
Just time to get some sleep, tomorrow was going to be final preparations for the finals next week. My school divides the finals into 3 shortened days. So I plan to give my test on Monday, then the day after that will be a study day.
I heavily encourage students to help each other, and that my desk will always be open for questions.
For now I'll go to bed, tomorrow is Sunday, and is another big day. I close my eyes and smile thinking about Akari.
Akari's POV
I woke up feeling stressed out. Not physically by any means, just nervous for tonight. It was my turn to run the show.
"Oh, I should text Nagisa the final parts of my plan." I say, scrambling around for my phone.
Hey Nagisa, so if you could pick me up and drive to the downtown marketplace. The restaurant is in the area, and I'll have one more surprise when we get there ;).
Nagisa quickly responded, excited for the 'master plan' I had in store for tonight. I couldn't help but smile, Nagisa is a really funny guy, despite what he'll say about it.
All I had to do today was the date with Nagisa, so I didn't do much for most of the day. I did go on a walk though, getting exercise in is quite important to me.
I came back, showered, and got ready for tonight. Right as I finished I heard my doorbell ring, and my best friend had just arrived.
Nagisa's POV
The door opened not too long after I rang the doorbell. Akari answered, looking even better than she did last time. This time I actually did feel a bit underdressed. I had remembered what I wore last week, and tried my best to match the level of formality. Unfortunately, I'm not too fashion smart, so I could have easily made a downgrade and not noticed one bit.
Akari has a maroon shirt, and black skirt that looks a bit tight on her. She wore a necklace with a silver chain and golden heart. Her hair looked more perfect than it ever had before.
"Wow..." I say, having dropped my jaw on the floor, "you look beautiful Akari..."
Her cheeks immediately reddened, "T-thanks Nagisa, y-you look pretty good too..."
Akari looked off to the side a bit, brushing a few strands of hair out of her face. If anything tonight was going to go as good as she looked, then I'm about to have the best night of my life.
