What The Future Holds For Us

Prologue

Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High wasn't connected to the same property as the main campus. It is instead an entirely separate building in a mountain near the school. Not the greatest of structures, but just enough to hold a single class.

Class E was severely segregated and looked down upon by the rest of the school, treated as defective or inferior. It was set up in a way to seem so. It was created as something to motivate students to try harder, thus to not fall into Class E.

Nobody paid attention, empathized, or cared about what would happen to the class of failures. Nobody except a strange creature, whose plans in life were to become the teacher of Kunugigaoka's Class 3-E, and destroy the earth by that upcoming March.

Not too long ago, nearly 70% of the moon was vaporized without any reason as to why. An incredibly large and fast monster shaped like a yellow octopus with a uniform on took credit for the destruction, and demonstrated his power to prove such a claim. The government tried to no avail in killing this 3 meter-tall beast, as his top speed was clocked in at Mach 20. All they could do was hear his demands.

The unnamed creature said that he must teach Kunugigaoka's Class 3-E. He also mentioned that by March he planned to make the earth look like what remained of the moon. The government allowed him to become their teacher, so long as the children were to remain unharmed. He complied incredibly well, putting an extensive amount of care for his new position as teacher.

The government also had one last plan for the school year. The students of Class 3-E were to kill their new teacher. Armed with specialized weapons, they were left with the hopes of everyone who understood the situation, that those students were to kill the creature, before the earth was annihilated.
