Nagisa's POV

"Are you ready to leave Nagisa?" Akari asked.

"Yeah I'm coming!" I say, jogging down the stairs to the car.

It's been over a month and a half since Akari's return. We've moved in together, and continued to live our lives happily. Today was Karma and Nakamura's wedding, we were both leaving early to help with preparations for our friends of the corresponding gender. We were both really looking forward to today.

In the time I spent lots of time finalizing the wedding for Karma, and Akari was helping Nakamura as well. Karma and Nakamura had things like location, guests, dates, and other top essentials figured out on their own. My job was to aid the little details, the cake, coloring of the area, and excess decoration.

All of class 3-E was invited, of course, so this was going to be a bit of a reunion once again. Another event where we gather for a common goal. Instead of honoring the greatest influence in our life, we will be celebrating our classmates writing a new chapter in their lives.

If I'm going to be perfectly honest I should take notes on how the day goes. I'm not sure when or who I will be married to, might as well be as ready as I can. I think about all of this strangely, I have absolutely no intention of EVER leaving Akari, but I never consider the possibility of her being my wife. I always leave it at 'someone' and never a specific person.

We got in the car for the short drive to the park area with a lake where the wedding was to take place. Akari and I didn't talk very much, we were mentally tunnel visioned for the day in front of us. Though Akari did eventually speak up.

"Hey Nagisa, I've been thinking about our future. I love you very much, but the concept of marriage seems weird to me still. Do you know why I'm feeling this way?"

I pause for a bit before I laugh a little. Akari got a little flustered, but I just had to explain myself to her.

"Akari I'm just laughing because I'm thinking the same things as you. I know for sure that I love you more than anything else, but when the topic of marriage comes up I'm not sure about it. We can't predict the future, think about it, no force of nature could have given us the idea of Korosensei coming into our lives. We should just enjoy the present, and worry about those things later."

"Well Nagisa, I guess we'll just have to see how things turn out..."

We were both red for the remainder of the drive. We didn't talk too much about it. We arrive at the area where the wedding is to be held, and there are only a few cars there. Akari and I get out and part ways to help out the preparation of the person for the wedding with our corresponding gender. I would help Karma and Akari with Nakamura.

"Hey there Karma!" I say walking into the area with Sora, Takuya, and Isogai.

"Hey Nagisa, how do I look so far?" He responds.

"Awesome, nothing I would change. Are you nervous at all?"

"A little, but less so that I expected. I'm just happy to know that today is supposed to be the best day of my life, and that in a few months I'll be a father."

"You should be! You have some really good things going forward, it's good that you aren't afraid of the future." Sora said.

We talked with each other for a while longer, the physical preparation was done without me. We were having a great time, Hiroto even made it after I did. It was still a couple hours until everything was to start, so some of it was just casual chat, as preparations outside were being handled mostly by Nakamura's side of the family.
