Nagisa's POV
My alarm woke me up today, but it wasn't for school. Today was Class 3-E's 15 year reunion. Almost everyone was going to make it, too. Some people were busy with work, or living overseas, but my closest friends were all able to make it, which I think is the best part of it.
We were to meet at the building where we went to class all those years ago. Those who would attend were to do a quick clean of the location. But we would also be planting a small landmark, in honor of our late teacher, the one who made all of us better individuals.
People had gotten their dream jobs, made successful lives. A few of them even got married. But probably most important of all, we were living out the teachings of Korosensei.
I was living out my dreams, too. I had finally cut my hair, moved out to a place of my own, and become a teacher, just as I promised Korosensei I would. He is the reason for all of this coming true.
I look back, and the life of an assassin might have suited me well, and working with Mr. Karasuma and Ms. Jelavić would have been nice. But Korosensei knew what I really was meant to do. To mold the minds of kids, making them smarter, friendlier, more confident, and better people. Just as Korosensei did to us.
Though I'll never be able to live up to his excellence, I can use what gifts he has recognized in myself to be the best instructor I can. Without super speed, cleverness, and transcendent intellect, I'm bound to run into challenges.
But, as Korosensei would tell us, "If I wasn't prepared to adapt as needs demanded, I wouldn't have become a teacher in the first place."
That, at the very least, is something I can do too.
I was looking forward to talking to some of my former classmates. It's been so long since I've seen Sugino, Isogai, or Kayano...
Actually I should really get in the habit of referring to her as Akari. She's turned into quite the actress in recent years, partaking in large films all over the world. Though she's never been a star, I'm fully confident that becoming one lies in her near future. Seeing her will be quite pleasant.
It's been a while since Akari and I had a serious chat. Most of the time we were just focusing on school or killing Korosensei. If I'm going to be perfectly honest, I wish I did have more time with her.
We went to different high schools, and pursued our own dreams, we became who we are today. My cheeks began to turn a bit red thinking about all this.
I wish I had actually done more with her. I didn't know her nearly as long as Karma, but when I look back on friendships I have Akari and Karma at equal footing.
Well, before I knew it I had to get going, it was only about a 15 minute drive to the campus so it wasn't too much. But it seemed to take forever because of the excitement I had for what was waiting for me there.
I hope everything goes well, that people still like me, that Akari does. Let's have some fun!
Nakamura's POV
"I just saw another car pull up across the street, do you know who that is?" I asked Isogai, who was also waiting at the base with me, greeting our former classmates.
"I'm actually not quite sure myself, Nakamura." Isogai replies. "Maybe it's someone's husband or something?"
I laugh, knowing that there are actually a few of us who did get into relationships, myself included.
When the man in question stepped outside his car, the blue hair and short stature was a dead giveaway. Nagisa has finally arrived.
"Nakamura, Isogai, it's wonderful to see you both!" Nagisa shouts as he jogs towards us.
