Karma's POV

My jaw must have been on the floor, I had no idea what to say. I was going to be a father. Rio looked a bit upset though, and I didn't have a clue as to why.

I picked her up and spun her around into a hug. I was crying myself. "This is such good news, Rio. We should be celebrating tonight, this can't be what's bothering you."

"Well... I just wasn't too sure about having a kid before we got married, so I pushed the wedding up to make sure our child was born into a married family. I felt a bit bad not telling you, but I was worried about your own reaction..." Rio said, wiping away the tears that used to be of sadness.

I kissed her immediately, leaning her downwards as if I was putting her to bed. "Rio this is the best news I've heard in such a long time. I love you so much and I agree with your wanting to get married sooner, you shouldn't be sad one bit!" I said, still possessing watery eyes.

"Don't worry Karma, there aren't any tears of sadness with me." She moved in to kiss me once more. The two of us had our ramen, and turned on the tv until we fell asleep. We snuggled together, kissing every so often, because this was the best day of our lives.

Nagisa's POV

I woke up at a decent time to getting to work. It wasn't the usual later start to school we had on Wednesdays. Our home room was longer to accommodate for the assembly we would be having today.

I came into class probably 20 minutes before class would start. When I got to my door I was delighted to see that there were a handful of students waiting outside my door. This was one of the last few days we would be seeing each other, before they would go off into the world, blazing their own trails from here.

The home room bell rang and everyone had taken their seats. It was a few minutes until the assembly was going to take place. This would be the first time in a few years I didn't watch it. At my school, home rooms stick together for all 3 years, only changing for certain classes on different times. So with the exceptions of electives, our class was always together.

Moments after I closed the door and started to take attendance the intercom came on with the voice of Principal Teikoku.

Good morning students and teachers! Today is going to be a great day, it's the moving up assembly! In 10 minutes we would like to see the students in their current areas, we will change things up from there. Thank you and have a great day!

The announcement was complete, there wasn't anything I was going to go over this morning, they've seen how things work before. I just wanted to have a word with them.

"This is it guys. All that happens next is the end of year preparations and graduation. I've seen you all develop as students and as people. It's been an incredibly long time that we've been here together. In this room. With these people, making memory after memory. You have all been an inspiration to myself and each other. Please take the skills you've learned in this building and go on with life to your wildest dreams."

I said that, getting slightly emotional. Then from the center of the room Hikari spoke up. "Was that scripted Nagisa-Sensei?" Everyone started laughing, myself included.

"No Hikari, it was just me speaking the truth. I'm devastated that I'll be seeing you off in mere days. There isn't much more I can teach you, I've given my all to you guys, and just look at the scores on the bulletin board outside, you've given your all too."

I sat down at my desk and started thinking to myself. I'm seeing the students I've worked with for years go off into their future. I'm sad but also quite happy that they will be doing what they want. But how come I can't feel that way about Akari.
