Nagisa's POV
The week went by quickly, there wasn't much we needed to do, it being so early into school. So I woke up this Saturday prepared for Karma's bachelor party.
In about a month Karma and Nakamura were getting married. Karma wanted to celebrate with his guy friends one last time before he is married. His high school friend Sora texted the other people going in one group to chat about the plan for the night. The people who would be going to the party would be Karma, myself, Isogai, Hiroto, and Takuya, another high school friend. Karma told me a bit about Takuya and Sora, they seemed like great guys from his stories.
Karma texted me personally that he wasn't used to being the planner for events. Nakamura had that whole process down so he never had to. Karma was slightly worried things wouldn't go the way he anticipated. I had to assure him that his plan sounded excellent, and the people he invited would follow you through it all.
Karma texted us a location of a fairly nice hotel. He said he would pay for everything, so I lucked out in that area. We had reserved two rooms to ourselves, each would have three people in it. Both rooms had a pool table, which we planned on using. A block away was a bowling alley, which I was pretty excited for.
I dressed up in what was essentially my junior high school attire and left for the hotel. It was about a 40 minute drive from my apartment, but relatively close to Karma's house, so it made sense that we would go there. Karma and the others were waiting in the hotel lobby when I arrived.
"Glad you could make it!" Isogai says.
"It would be a shame if my best man couldn't come tonight!" Karma adds.
"I wouldn't miss this for the world Karma." I reply.
Sora and Takuya stand up to greet me. "So you must be Nagisa Shiota? It's a pleasure to meet up, I'm Sora, and this is Takuya."
They were both pretty tall guys, and it still left me as the dwarf of the bunch. Still, they seemed like great company to have for the night. We checked into our rooms and went up the elevator.
Each room was nearly identical, two queen sized beds and a pull out from the couch. We dropped off our things in our respective rooms before meeting up in Karma, Hiroto, and I's. We sat around and just talked for a bit, we let Karma dictate the conversations. Sora and Takuya didn't know Nakamura as personally as the rest of us did, but we did enjoy talking about our favorite moments of them. There were several I could think of. One stuck out above the others, and I had to re tell it for Akari's sake.
"Mine is easy" I started, "it was actually my first kiss. It was more public than I had wished it to be, so he and Nakamura snuck in and photographed the whole thing!" I said, as we all joined each other in a laugh.
"You know I sent that photo and had it laminated. I kept it in my wallet for the rest of the year." Karma says, generating more laughs.
We looked at the time and saw it read 6:45. Karma suggested we go and walk to the bowling alley, and we obliged. We were having a great time so far tonight, and I only saw highlights going forward.
"Hey Karma, what's the dinner plan?" Takuya asks.
"Well the bowling alley is one of the more sophisticated ones. It has a bar and restaurant built into it. I suggest we order drinks and dinner from that as we play. We all thought that sounded like a good idea, especially me.
I didn't say this to anyone, but bowling was one of my better sports. My mom wanted me to do gymnastics, probably more of wanting a girl reason like with my hair. But high school was where my time as a bowler began. I started the season as an alright player, but refined my skill to become the team captain in my final year. I even won one of the tournaments we held.
